IIRC, failure to resister for Selective Service makes one ineligible for any federal job. If 0bama’s SS form is fake, he never registered. Therefore, 0bama is ineligible to be President of the United States of America.

“Therefore, 0bama is ineligible to be President of the United States of America.”

So, should we add this to the list of 7,123 other reasons Obama is not qualified?

The President is a constitutional position, and nowhere in the constitution is there any reference to selective service.

Obama turned 18 during the window (1975-1980) when males were not required to register. If he was in the United States then, he would remember that. I don't know why he would fake a registration now. That seems like a stupid slip up by his campaign bent on covering his tracks.

This brings up an interesting conundrum, though. As I recall, no one who turned 18 then registered. I have lots of family members, friends, etc, who assumed that they didn't have to and never did. However, when Carter re-instituted the registration in 1980, this may? have triggered a requirement that all males between the ages of 18 and 25. This would include Obama and many of those who thought they never had to register. Another 'law' that everyone is guilty of breaking, I guess.
