PHOENIX — Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Thursday he suspects the birth certificate President Obama released designed to prove his U.S. citizenship last year is a forgery.
“A six-month long investigation conducted by my cold case posse has lead me to believe there is probable cause to believe that President Barack Obama’s long-form birth certificate released by the White House on April 27, 2011, is a computer-generated forgery,” the long-time sheriff, who has regularly battled the administration, said.
Sheriff Arpaio said at least two crimes were committed in his view through the forgery.
He released a 10-page report detailing what his investigators said were “inconsistencies” in the text characters of the birth certificate image the White House released, and also questioned details of the computer file itself.
Some of those claims had earlier been raised on the Internet as well, and the White House has rejected them.
The Justice Department has accused Sheriff Arpaio of civil rights abuses, but he said he began his investigation before that.

I think that Sheriff Joe Arpaio has the power under state law to keep Zero off the presidential ballot in Maricopa county....a very large county with a big percentage of the state’s population. IMO this is one of the reasons Joe has conducted this investigation...to give him a good reason.

I don’t know what Sheriff Arpaio will do next, but I’m sure he’ll keep pursuing investigation of the crimes that have been committed. Things will move along on this front.
What I’m more concerned about is what will be done to investigate the “disappearance” (or, more likely, sudden unavailability) of relevant microfilm records of “returning to US” data FOR THE MONTH OF OBAMA’S BIRTH when the microfilm records were available for times before and after this time period. I wonder if THE COWARD JOHN BOEHNER will permit a House investigation of the matter. I suspect NOTHING will happen on that front — little crybaby Johnie would not want to “make waves”.

The President is NOT exempt from the law, so he can be legally arrested for the same reasons as any other person in the United States. (The Supreme Court so found in relation to the unpleasantness related to the Bill Clinton). The President’s lawyers argued that he could not be made to testify on a lawsuit while he was President. The Supreme Court decreed otherwise, stating that the President was not exempted from the laws that applied to all citizens.
The practicalities involved may be something else. The President is protected by the Secret Service, and it is not likely that any law officer will be allowed to simply walk up to the President and place him under arrest.
One thing that may be somewhat confusing is that the Constitution protects members of Congress (Representatives and Senators) from arrest while they are on their way to Congress or while performing their duties. The president does not enjoy such protection.

O’Reilly makes fun of anyone who dares mention that the great Obama was not born in the United States. This is a huge story. Arpaio is the most famous lawman in the United States and this story needs to be looked into, but Faux News like I said will either bury it or call it is crazy and say Arpaio needs to resign because he’s going senile. They will try and belittle the great lawman.

Given that Obama SR was already married, and bigamy is illegal in the USA, I’d have to conclude they were NOT legally married.
However, the whole ‘altering a digital image’ thing has me puzzled. Since Hawaii has originals, and since the officials at the top say Jr’s certificate is good, then they would have to be in on the con job. Now, if they are part of it, wouldn’t it be easier for one of them to sit at her desk, type the information into the computer, hit print, and produce a birth certificate that is in all ways indistinguishable from an authentic one, since it would be made by the exact process, paper & machinery of a ‘real’ one?
