PHOENIX — Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Thursday he suspects the birth certificate President Obama released designed to prove his U.S. citizenship last year is a forgery.
“A six-month long investigation conducted by my cold case posse has lead me to believe there is probable cause to believe that President Barack Obama’s long-form birth certificate released by the White House on April 27, 2011, is a computer-generated forgery,” the long-time sheriff, who has regularly battled the administration, said.
Sheriff Arpaio said at least two crimes were committed in his view through the forgery.
He released a 10-page report detailing what his investigators said were “inconsistencies” in the text characters of the birth certificate image the White House released, and also questioned details of the computer file itself.
Some of those claims had earlier been raised on the Internet as well, and the White House has rejected them.
The Justice Department has accused Sheriff Arpaio of civil rights abuses, but he said he began his investigation before that.

I my view, yes, there is something new. If what was found was enough to bring charges then bring them. Once it goes to court the WH can no longer deal w/ it in the press, they’ll have to have facts. That or they’ll have to have the charges dismissed. In my view it would be to Barry’s advantage to go to court. If they could prevail in fact then it would put the thing to rest once for all. If not then he’d go to jail and a Constitutional crisis would ensue. I just dont see this happening if he’s guilty.

In 1981 he visited Pakistan...on some country’s passport...with his Pakistani roommate. For an “American” he seems to have had a lot of close foreign friends.
Apparently his grades at Occidental were poor to average...so somehow he got into Columbia...where he claims in his book...to have taken every drug he could get his hands on...where did he get the money???? Did he sell drugs?
How did he get into Harvard Law??? Was it as a foreign student appointment???

A couple of things new to me.
1.Microfiche files (now I didn't quite get this part because people would not stop calling me on the phone while I was trying to listen) showing either Passenger Manifests for flights in and out of Hawaii for a ten year period (or alternatively immigration INS data) were missing from the time period between August 1 of 1961 through August 7th of 1961. The rest of the ten year range was present.
2. They have actual documents (and witnesses who have agreed to come forward) showing Hawaii issued Hawaiian born birth certificates to foreign born children.
Again, don't take what I mentioned here as exactly correct. That SEEMS to be what I heard. No doubt a replay of the streaming feed will be able to settle the question, but that is what I *THOUGHT* I heard.

I hope that the entire news conference is recorded and posted somewhere. Sheriff Arpaio said he hadn’t decided what to do next but he did mention a possible Congressional investigation. We now have a law enforcement agency that shows evidence fraud has been committed and implicates the Obama administration. Contact your Senators and Representative and demand an investigation.
