Alan Dershowitz has always been a symbol of the politically active, liberal law professor. Then I watched a round-table with him and a bunch of other law professors, and realized that in that setting, he was the most moderate and rational. It shows how bad the usual law profession has become.
Alan Dershowitz is a very intelligent chap, and if he is awakening, good for him. I entirely agree with his position on this issue.
I have long thought that Alan Dershowitz is rather like Ed Koch. I disagree with them on almost every political issue, but underneath it all I think they are both decent people. And from time to time, they show it.
You can’t say that about most liberal lawyers or politicians.
I still remember when he was the enemy. He’s been on our side pretty much since 2006.
We should all highlight this ‘death threat’ I remember that Media Matters remived it again and again from its wikipedia page.
There’s only one explanation for Dershowitz’s new emphasis: he’s a homophobe! ;o)
