Why are the college students so cowardly in spreading the Good News? When Peter was whipped for spreading the Gospel, he rejoiced that he was worthy of persecution. When Paul and Silas were imprisoned, they sang hymns in the jail throughout the night. When Martin Luther King was jailed by racist Democrats during the Civil Rights era, he penned "Letters From a Birmingham Jail".

Yet, when a lowly "Dean of Students" sez, "Don't proclaim the Gospel", the students cower in the corner, meekly comply, and then complain to another Professor. If I were Mike Adams, I'd counsel the student to start proclaiming the Gospel in the middle of the Campus Quad, and dare the Campus Police to drag him away.

So in 10 weeks we may hear what University and what Dean did this? Wake me up when some specifics are released.

“So in 10 weeks we may hear what University and what Dean did this? Wake me up when some specifics are released.”
I also think it would have made more impact if the details accompanied the story. As it stands, it seems more like one of those internet hoaxes that people reading it assume is true but is actually contrived. The anonymity interferes with what could have been a very powerful testimony.

As I read the situation, if Mike Adams were to include details beyond what he did, he would be creating a libelous situation for himself as the situation is not yet resolved. That would be why the name of the particular university, dean, and students involved aren’t given.

Man, I’ve gotten so used to knowing about the decades-long infiltration by the left of academia, media, and church that to write it in a comment is almost a platitude now, though it’s as fiercely true as ever. But this really blows the dust off this truth.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

These students have a powerful Friend.

Kick his speech bullying ass.

Ya know, I've come to the conclusion that its long past time for some serious ass-kicking about some of these things.

"Finally, and most ridiculously, you actually took the complaint seriously and forced the student to stop sharing the Gospel unless someone specifically asked to hear it."

Of course this is an illegal and unenforcable order. Since most colleges receive federal funds and this order would violate several provisions of the 1st amendment it cannot be enforced.

You may have missed the point that this letter can (and should) be applied to most any “Christian” University, with very little editing.

It’s not Adams’s university, because he works for UNC Wilmington. BTW, you couldn’t ask for better ratings on Rate My Professor, even from the students who disagree with his politics. He might want to jack up the difficulty of the classes some if the university will let him.

My question to the Dean would be if he had ever counseled a Muslim student who offended someone by his support of the prophet Mohammed. My bet would be that the Dean would be afraid to counsel a Muslim student.
