A furious mob has desecrated dozens of Commonwealth War Graves in a Libyan cemetery amid continuing fury in the Middle East over the burning of the Koran by U.S. soldiers. Headstones commemorating British and Allied servicemen, killed during World War II campaigns in the Western Desert, lay smashed and strewn across Benghazi Military Cemetery. Protesters rampaged through site on Friday, despite efforts by America to calm tensions sparked when it emerged U.S. soldiers had burned Muslim holy books in a pile of rubbish at a military base in Afghanistan.

As far as I can determine with everything I've read, the Arabs have been nothing to history but destroyers and thieves of other cultures; taking credit for things they had nothing to do with but rather stealing. They are uncivilized and they bring their savagery with them wherever they go. Case in point that freak in CA that had a TV station for ragheads which was aired on Verizon’s lineup. The freak stabbed his wife and then BEHEADED her in his office because she wanted a divorce.

They may ‘appear’ in westernized clothing but ... a piece of sh*t wrapped up in a gift box is still a piece of sh*t.

Where is our Patton?

Patton would be too "insensitive" for our 21st century army.

The movie is on netflix. I have seen it at least 8 times, and every time I find something new.

Compared to war, all other forms of human endeavor shrink to insignificance."

"For over a thousand years, Roman conquerors returning from the wars enjoyed the honor of a triumph - a tumultuous parade. In the procession came trumpeters and musicians and strange animals from the conquered territories, together with carts laden with treasure and captured armaments. The conqueror rode in a triumphal chariot, the dazed prisoners walking in chains before him. Sometimes his children, robed in white, stood with him in the chariot, or rode the trace horses. A slave stood behind the conqueror, holding a golden crown, and whispering in his ear a warning: That all glory is fleeting."

You're planning on going to the Libyan cemetery and shooting people? Maybe join the Army? If you're talking about shooting random people in the United States you're nuts... and need to get a grip on reality. We're fighting ideas here - we're NOT killing innocent neighbors who happen to be Muslim.

And my apology to you if you were going to join the Army and request being stationed at a Libyan cemetery....

Bump this! Delingpole has posted a video of the grave desecrations:

Cameron vindicated! Grateful Libyan people thank Britain for their liberation from Gadaffi

President Pander should apologize to these brave warriors for making the markers out of hard marble -- it's very tough on their feet.

This story is featured nowhere obvious, it seems, on the US MSM. It is, however, prominent on Al-Jazeera, of all places, where the story in recounted in detail and it’s one of the ‘most viewed’ stories today:

Osama liked watching pictures of the 9/11 New York attacks too. Maybe it’s a hot news story because the folks watching are feeling glee... Cultures where men are seen in streets jumping up and down, screaming, carrying coffins etc are not like us - and ‘thank God’, we’re not like them.
