I do hope somebody talks about Warren Buffet apologizing for his prediction that the housing industry would recover in a vacuum while the rest of the economy continues to struggle. And how somebody who thinks that way could end up being so rich. It just doesn't seem fair.
Dear friends, let us LOVE one another, for LOVE comes from God. Everyone who LOVES has been born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7
So the liberals want to make fun of Conservatives for being moral people who question the White House for forcing church organizations to provide free contraceptives. Does this edict mean that churches now have to have condoms in the bathrooms or morning after pills in the host? The last people who should tell anybody how to live and what to do with their sexual lives would be the libs. These people have ruined more lives and societies than we can count who lead lifestyles that usually end up on drugs and death but are the first to tell everyone else how to live their lives. No thanks, how about you leave us alone for a change?
We have the thought police out in force telling Rick Santorum that he needs to back off of his statements about contraceptives which go along with his church teachings. He obviously lives the life he preaches by the size of his family and the handicapped child who he is keeping and loving rather than the butchering like the commie libs would prefer. We know and they know that the commies idea of birth control is abortion factories on every corner where they can slaughter babies until the first breath or as Obozo voted, beyond that breath. They never have had the least bit of concern over the number of babies or girls lives they have destroyed, only can they provide as many deaths of the inferior as they can. There is no question which party the National Socialists came from with their death factories.
Abortion is the most destructive war on the poor we have had since perhaps the beginning of mankind. It not only has destroyed over fifty million babies since it was Federally protected it has destroyed at least that many girls lives as they were told abortion was a minor inconvenience which is nothing more than taking an aspirin when it is actually the most traumatic event in most womens lives. The abortion leads to massive guilt and depression as it immediately forces the girl to realize she had just turned her womb into a tomb. Something most girls dream about from their most basic existence of falling in love and having babies suddenly turns into a trauma causing depression and raising the chances of suicide over 250% in the first three months. She will experience similar increases in alcoholism, drug abuse and promiscuity as well as disconnection from future relationships, all so we can have more sex.
While the commie libs explain how old fashioned our candidates are with their old fogey sexual beliefs are they can explain how happy these kids are with skyrocketing sexually transmitted diseases. This sexual explosion has caused massive increases in prescription resistant diseases which will last the rest of their lives, sexual and chemical addictions as well as a feeling of emptiness and hopelessness leading to more depression and suicide. These girls are sold a lie that being sexually active is empowering and attractive when it is actually destructive and lonely. They try to attract boys by becoming slutty toys for them to be used and thrown away heading them down that path to emptiness, guilt and shame.
The real reason the DNC pushes this lifestyle and permissiveness is the abortion industry is one of their big cash machines. If girls begin having sex at an earlier age and do inevitably become pregnant then they have made more customers for their partners at the abortion factories. The abortion factories know they need to promote these politicians to stay in business so they use some of their proceeds to grease the palms of the politicians and so the cycle continues.
The multi-billion dollar abortion industry gives almost 100% of their donations to dems which means once Deathcare is instituted and abortion is mandated for free then the donations will multiply. For a Democrat there is no downside to the abortion industry and the more abortions the more they potentially will receive. Killing babies and destroying womens lives pays very well for the machine which cranks out more blood money for the Party.
We need to go back to respecting young girls and treating them like the gifts God made them. It is time for the entire society to stop the sex addiction making them into toys for boys and turn them into something special. Until we begin respecting them we are going to make them nothing more than objects to be used and destroyed for the few minutes of pleasure that has consequences which destroys lives and kills babies. This is what Rick Santorum was saying and what the Democrat Party is terrified will be discussed by the country. The last thing they want is to defend their destruction of women in the guise of feminism.
Lets begin the discussion and see what the response of the American people will be. We have a country that is bankrupt both economically and morally as the two are directly connected. We need to explain the importance of both the family and the need to protect and respect young women which means if they do make a mistake and become pregnant we need to partner them and properly counsel them in keeping or adopting.
We have to rebuild our moral fiber and tell kids sex before marriage has serious consequences but if girls do get pregnant we need to encourage them to do the right thing and accept the responsibility of protecting Gods creation. This may mean adoption rather than abortion and save a baby to give a family a child who has been wanting a baby but not able to have one. This becomes the greatest gift of all. Until we bring this discussion into the arena we will never be able to improve the morals and lives of this Country. If it is about contraception and who pays to begin it then lets begin talking about morality in America, our young women deserve it.
Pray for America

That’s what I was wondering.
Many sympathies. I will be your neck of the woods all week. Gotta leave today. Thanks for providing the thread.
Newt was great in California....how come it isn’t up anywhere
O’Malley doesn't get the credit he deserves. He is as far nutburger left as Deval Patrick or Hussein Himself. You poor MD people are so screwed.
0bama and his sycophant media is scared to death of him .... so you have to watch Newt online ...
Thanks for the thread, AB. Escape the blue state when you can.
Thanks for thread, AB
Our prayers are with you being stuck in a blue state...keep your location undisclosed!
May you return to Fortress Babylon soon to the comfort of your Castle. We applaud your dedication to reach us. Keep your powder dry!
Well golly gee..surely you know that its more impt to have McCain on.
Santorum is doing great...brings up why is Paul attacking anyone who is in second place.
Santorum nailing it to the Left on elitism!!!!
Are there actually people out there who care what John McCain and Lindsey Graham have to say?
Newt may be staying off the shows today to help Rick. Every Newt voter in MI needs to vote for Rick to defeat Milt Toast.
A loss in his home state would be fatal.
Pray for America
Santorum is doing great with Gregory who is just attacking him with distorted questions...Good Lord, even the MSM is in the tank for romney...wonder why??? maybe cause he would be a weak horse to Obama?
Santorum is not letting Gregory rattle him.
Santorum catches Gregory on saying that S voted for a steel bailout, says he was voting for tariffs due to Chinese dumping steel. [Santorum should have used that response against Romney at the debate.]
Good morning AB, All .
Very windy here in the swamps, where the weather doesn’t know if it should be winter or maybe spring.
As always, thank you AB for doing this thread. This thread becomes increasingly important with the upcoming monumental elections.
I understand Obamer has promised to continue “improving” this country in the next five years, which would include 2012 and the four years AFTER he gets re-elected.
I lie awake shivering at the notion.
But hey, here’s the deal. We purport to live in a country where the citizens’ will be carried out. America elected Obamer oncit, maybe that was a mistake. But if we elect him again then we, by “we” I mean us Freepers and the like, can do nothing but accept that the majority shall rule and the majority has chosen the Obamer route.
As much as deep in my soul I don’t believe America WANTS to go the way of Obamer, what matters and is tangible is how the citizenry votes. If the citizenry put him back into power then there’s not much more that can be done.
We don’t even have an opposition party now, not even with the 2010 massacre and message to bolster. After Obamer wins the Republican party shall essentially be no more.
Santorum on ABC with George S. George puts up polls showing Santorum vs. Romney race tightening to a dead heat.
George plays the No Child Left Behind comments - politics is a team sport, then points out Romney’s comments - “Santorum is playing for the wrong team.” Santorum points out that ROmney still supports the NCLB program, along with govt run healthcare, etc.
George asks Santorum about not supporting bailing out the auto industry. Santorum defends free markets.......gives example of steel industry in PA not receiving bailouts, the steel industry is still there, but it is different. (He did a pretty good job explaining this position, IMO)
Accuses Romney of an Occupy WallStreet mentality with his tax plans -
On Afghanistan and four Americans that were killed. Serious problems with Karzai govt. THis is unacceptable...this was just a mistake - no apology should have ever have been given. George asks why not if it was a mistake? Santorum responds it shows weakness, lends credibility that it was something more than a mistake.
On education, George plays clip where Santorum says obama is a snob for thinking every American should go to college. Santorum says it devalues those who chose not to go. santorum said to Glen Beck that he understands why obama wants every kid to go to college for a year because they are indoctrination think tanks. George is so concerned saying santorum makes it sound like there is something wrong with going to college.
George plays clip of Santorum about Kennedy’s speech - made him want to throw up. Santorum responds it is the first line of the speech in which Kennedy said he believed in the ABSOLUTE seperation of church and state. IOW, for the first time, a presidents had stated that faith had no business in govt/the public square.
(Uh-oh, George is getting Santorum off in the faith arguments. He was doing pretty well, but he has engaged Rick at this point, and Santorum is going off topic.) - my opinion, only.
Rick has a car in the Daytona 500? Did not know that. lol, it’s a Ford!
I am no Santorum fan, but he should be diverting the conversation to Obama, not letting Gregory goad him into defending his social stands for extended periods of time.
Well, I’d say that the “vast throng” of CNN viewers seem to like ‘em.
CNN’s ratings seem to climb almost above the rim of the bowl every other month or so when they’ve got such a stellar lineup around.
(Don’t know if I should use a ROFLMAO or /sarc here, so I’ll leave ‘em both.)
So Fish, a number of people have been asking me to run for Congress. They have seen our grassroots campaign program and believe it and my speaking ability could win here in deep blue Oregon. I am really considering doing it. What do you think, me in the District of Corruption?
Pray for America
Gregory brings up faith, that it should be kept ‘private’ based on what JFK said.
Santorum responds that it should be in the public forum. Turns it on Obama trying to impose ‘state’ faith in private matters.
[Gregory was probably cringing at that response.]
Santorum takes Gregory to task for Gregory implying that Santorum wants to impose his faith on the public.
Gregory ends with remark about Santorum sponsoring a car at the Daytona 500 rather than watching George Clooney at the Oscars.
Gregory remarks that Romney is still refusing to sit down with him on MTP. [Chris Wallace has chided Romney on FNS previously. It apparently worked, as Romney showed up on FNS this morning. Maybe Gregory is feeling some jealousy.]
You poor MD people are so screwed.
I watched some of these Sunday morning yackfests not long ago—can’t remember why— Never expect anything above bilge from the MSM. You won’t be disappointed.
Romney-PIMP Extraordinaire Chris Wallace
led his beloved backstabbing poser through
a series of lies, and never once (zero, zed)
called him on it.
Romney purported to have defended
conventional marriage in Massachusetts.
Utter lie, so it was ignored
by FOX "New"'s Wallace.
Romney purported to have been behind,
through the entire campaign now had momentum
(ignoring that he is collapsing, now).
Utter lie, so it was ignored by FOX "New"'s Wallace
who had been proclaiming Romney "the leader" endlessly.
Romney purported to have be a 'conservative'.
Utter lie, so RomneyCARE, the BIGDIG coverup,
Romney JUDGES, and Romney LIBERALISM
were all ignored by FOX "New"'s Wallace
who gazed his favorite star as he duly read from
his provided script.
Rumor is that FOX "News" and Wallace
and the Romney-PANEL, will simply script the
rest of the day for the phoney Romney,
the "self-declared (alleged) conservative".
No matter which candidate Freepers are supporting, this 30 minute commentary by Newt is right on as to our drilling and moving to energy independence. How and why. I would hope every Republican candidate takes this to heart and expresses the same view.
So okay, first, a member of congress? Would this be a federal position...a Representative?
Or would it be a state position?
Now as for running for an office, I am starting that endeavor, not for me but the guy who I somehow ended up being Treasurer for his campaign.
First thing, IT WILL COST YOU MONEY!
The Republican party does not step up and help candidates though I’m sure you know this. BUT with proper fundraising you can get ‘er done.
I’d think long and hard, however, about running for a federal office first thing. You’d be way better off to begin a blooming political career at the local level. Easier to raise funds, grow a network, that sort of thing.
Also, all those people encouraging you to run for an office, GET THEIR NAMES AND NUMBERS! For THEY are the ones you need to get that ball rolling.
My guy’s having a helluva time, and hence my own self, getting himself started in that he’s jumping right in. And he’s only running for Sussex county council. He’s got a few supporters and his opposition happens to be the only Democrat on the Sussex county council. an awful woman who once presented a motion to rename the Easter holiday the “spring recess”. That went over like one big dud in conservative Sussex county.
And go with me, I got a keyboard and am read across the blog sites of Delaware and, at times, I can be quite a wit with the words. I’ll take ‘em all down.
By all means go for it. I know how to set up an organization now, I know campaign finance reporting rules...what a real pain in the butt. I suspect I shall learn as the ship moves on.
Build on your admirers, that’s my first suggestion. And always....always...always....be true to who you are.
We already got Romney running as anybody’s candidate and he’s not doing all that well. Believe and stay yourself and see where it takes you.
Juan Williams and Lib Logic on drilling more: It won’t make gas prices go down, because oil is used world wide.
Round Table on ABC, Battleground Michigan -
John Engler, former MI Gov - Romney’s strength - he’s able to go the long haul. Dems’ can vote in the polls, their votes would go to Santorum.
Granholm former MI gov. - MI, not a winner take-all, Santorum will pick up a significant amount of delegates
Panelists all agree that the candidates have moved so far right, they will have a problem getting the swing votes in the general.
George Will - TP viewpoint - This is an election about limited govt, and Mitt Romney is on the other side.
Cokie - women’s vote is an economic vote along with every other voter.
George Will points out how bad the economy is with real numbers....George Step. interrupts and asks George Will, “Isn’t it the trend that matters?....politically?”
That's been graven in stone for me since....sheesh, about the time I started reading.
Experience replaced the word "bilge" for me with something more colorful around 1967.
Yes the money would be an issue, but I do work in the lumber industry and would champion their cause so it is possible I could raise quite a bit from them. Also, I believe you have to be fiscal conservative in a campaign too.
As for network, I have a core group of around 20 who want me to run and we helped run the last campaign with an outside group of around 300.
It is a real longshot but would be fun.
Excellent essay as usual, bray!
George continues to push the philosophy that if the economy seems to be moving in the right direction, how can Repub’s really criticize or use that?
If the liberal/progressive talking points said the world is flat, you can bet Juan Williams would not only agree but be willing to argue that point endlessly.
The bailout was NOT for the auto industry, but for 2 losing companies in the auto industry. Ford, Toyota, Nissan, VW, etc. etc. etc. did not get bailouts.
And when libs talk about the "auto industry bailout", how come they never talk about the hundreds of dealers that Obama closed? Such little respect for small businesses; or like post offices.
It’s not a philosophy, it’s the only excuse 0zero and the Democrats have going for them. Trouble is, much of what they are saying is bogus. Unemployment is not really down, there are other factors like people quitting looking that make it appear to be down. The more oil being refined today is another one that’s misleading.
Good points, Bernard.
MTP, Gregory interview of Santorum - asks about obama’s apology in Afghanistan. Santorum says should not apologize for a mistake.
GM should have filed for bankruptcy and if they were not a viable company with a viable plan, another company like Ford would have taken their market share and eventually their plants. Why do we need three companies other than the unions require it?
Pray for America
