Clinton tells Muslims to disregard campaign talk

TUNIS, Tunisia (AP) — U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton advised an audience in Tunisia on Saturday to "not pay attention" to the comments made by candidates vying for the Republican presidential nomination, saying the often overheated rhetoric of the campaign doesn't reflect U.S. policy.

Speaking at a town-hall style event in Tunisia, the North African nation that sparked the "Arab Spring" revolts, Clinton said the partisan remarks made during campaign events "certainly don't reflect the United States, don't reflect our foreign policy, don't reflect who we are as a people."

Clinton's remarks came in response to a question from a member of her audience who said he was troubled by some of the comments, which he considered anti-Muslim, made by candidates running for president.

"If you go to the United States, you see mosques everywhere, you see Muslim-Americans everywhere. That's the fact. So I would not pay attention to the rhetoric," she said.

Instead, she advised people to listen instead to President Barack Obama.

"I think that will be a very clear signal to the entire world as to what our values are," Clinton said.

"certainly don't reflect the United States... don't reflect who we are as a people."

So says the woman representing a viewpoint "reflected" by 21% of the nation.

Wow, 2 American officers were shot dead on Saturday..They were apart of someones family..They were apart of our big United States family..I do not care who you are in this country but we as a country should not be ok with this! I beleive that was the point the GOP was making and for any public offical to say “Pay No Attention to the GOP’ comment” about this is just shameful

In other words she is saying “Don't listen to the guys who want to kick your terrorist butts and listen instead to we who want to bow and kiss them.”

Hey, world Moslem community, comments made by Bill Clinton certainly don't reflect the United States, don't reflect our foreign policy, don't reflect who we are as a people.

You continue to be at very high risk of turning your countries into glass parking lots with your anti-Americanism, foolishness in trying to develop nuclear weapons and attacks on our interests.

You must change your ways now or else.

what rhetoric could she — or the whiney little jerk that asked the question in the first place — be referring to?

I’m honestly at a loss.

Which simply means that the pantsuit should retire permanently from the political arena, and that U.S. Policy should reflect the concerns of the governed, not the whims of a known perjurer : "I do not recall; I don't remember, I have no recollection, etc.," literally hundreds of times under oath.

"I think that will be a very clear signal to the entire world as to what our values are," Clinton said.

Spoken like a person thoroughly ignorant of the Umma for over 1400 years now.

The only historic periods when the koranimals have been quiescent, are following decisive and total military defeats.

The koranimals couldn't care less what our values are, either here in the U.S.A. or anywhere else in the world, or any time in history, in the present or in the total future.

Their comic book demands defeat or submission of us.
