KABUL, Afghanistan — The commander of NATO and U.S. forces says that all NATO personnel are being recalled from Afghan ministries following an attack at the Interior Ministry in Kabul.

Afghanistan is not the same as VN...a country like Afghanistan, with Islamist Sharia (like Iran) is genocidal and suicidal in their insane, ideological mission.

The Vietcong were viscious , intense commies...but they were not suicidal in their ideology...so it made sense to try a counter-insurgency move. I just don’t understand how you can put that strategy into effect. But maybe Petreus counted on “moderate” Afghans who didn’t want the Taliban.
But then, what do I know.

How to explain the situation in a way that can be understood,if you commit atrocities the way the Muslims in that country are doing....and killing US soldiers like that is an atrocity,it is not an act of war.You would be just doing the same stupid crap they are doing,ultimately what the Taliban will do to them(the people of Afghanistan)is about a million times worse then what you can imagine.

It is the same hing though,I don’t think our military was as coarse towards Muslims as it was after 9/11.We handled ourselves with restraint and dignity and honor,our fight was with the terrorists;we came here to put an end to what happened on 9/11.

Ultimately as the liberals took over,the Army just flipped out completely.It turned away from the brotherhood it had been when people were behind them to this current mess.I find it pathetic that Gen Allen had a strong reaction when officers got killed and just a few days ago(actually yesterday really) told the enlisted “not to get angry about it” when 2 enlisted men got killed.Shows you what soldiers are worth these days.

I do find it absolutely revolting the way Liberals act when they take charge,people just act nasty as they follow their example and you hear more news of people going postal and what-not.The Army is just treated as the lowest rung of government employees,people who just don’t compare to those working stateside or in an office.That destroys morale and they are more likely to do things to foreign civilians,that don’t work out too well.

I believe it was former President Bush who called Islam a religion of peace,after 9/11 no less.Obviously those who follow that religion are actually more likely to commit terror then just about any other religion,so that statement is not well reflected within the Muslim population.However I don’t think our current leadership would ever have the guts to do something that completely unpopular and that is the problem isn’t it.In no way would I ever trust liberals to keep things cool mostly because they’d be to careless about how their own subordinates felt or acted.

Hence this isn’t so much failure for the US military,it is a failure for the idiotic government that is cutting funding to it and then letting them get ripped off when they return home.

Anyway I hope they find the killer and I hope they hang him..

Yes, these folks only understand the BFH. Stall tactics work. So do preemptive defensive strikes to nuclear facilities, command and control centers, Oil/electric storage, and all military facilities. I’m just wondering who’s gonna blink first. With King Zero leading the charge we will be so hosed. It might just come from a military coup in the Good Ol’ US of A or from a real man in the field/asea with a set of nads.

There is no longer any reason for our guys to be there anymore. OBL is dead. Mission accomplished. The Afghan’s want their Taliban back, good. They can live under them again.

My sense of the situation there as well....the people cannot change their mindset as long as they adhere to their Imans and the Koran, and remain committed to their backward ideas of how life for them is lived. There comes a time when all "helps" to a people have to be abandoned and leave them to their way they desire. It's that time.......

1) Find an EXCUSE to ban domestic oil drilling in the United States. TACTIC: Sabotage a gulf oil rig.
2) Find an EXCUSE to further restrict gun sales by American firearms dealers (FFL’s). TACTIC: Send assault weapons to Mexico resulting in the murder of American border agents.
3) Find an EXCUSE to exit Afghanistan before the November election. TACTIC: Leak news of a Quran burning to generate mass rioting and murder of more Americans.
