It isn't. I had to read to several times to see if I was missing something. Obama did vote against the antiabortionist (pro-lifers). Double speak is right.

Newt said that Obama voted to “protect doctors who killed babies who survived the abortion.” The preexisting law already prohibited this. The law Obama voted against required doctors to provide palliative care to such babies even if they had no chance of long-term survival. That’s the difference.
