Lebanese Columnist: Jewish Religion Is a Fairy Tale; Jews Have No History, No Archaeological...

Following are excerpts from an interview with Lebanese columnist Jihad Al-Khazen, which aired on CBC TV on January 1, 2012:

Jihad Al-Khazen: In Jerusalem, there are no archeological remains of the Jews or any of their prophets. They have no history. People forget that during Yitzhak Rabin's first term in government, in the early 1980's [sic]… I was in America at the time, studying history at Georgetown University. Rabin excavated under the Haram Al-Sharif, and uncovered the remains of an Umayyad palace. There are no [Jewish] archeological remains. There is no Solomon's Temple or any other temple.

They did not enter our countries, nor did they leave them. They were never in Egypt or in the Sinai. Ask Dr. Zahi Hawwas if he has found any Jewish archeological remains in Egypt or in the Sinai. Modern historians, including some Jews, call these "Torah fairy tales."

The Islamic religion was delivered in the light of history. Divine inspiration would come to the Prophet Muhammad, and he would put it on record that same day. The Christian religion was recorded by Jesus' disciples 40 or 50 years later. They were all still alive. The Jewish religion was recorded after 1,000 years. It's like you and me discussing family tales about the Crusades. The Crusades took place 800 years ago, not 1,000 years.

This religion is a fairy tale. We must sever Islam's times with [the Jews]. Their Prophets are not the prophets of the Muslims. Islamic scholars must have the courage to show that these people are frauds. That religion cannot possibly be true.

From back in January, but still interesting...

"There are no [Jewish] archeological remains. There is no Solomon's Temple or any other temple."

What an deluded idiot.

“Today is history. Today will be remembered. Years from now the young will ask with wonder about this day. Today is history and you are part of it. Six hundred years ago when elsewhere they were footing the blame for the Black Death, Casimir the Great - so called - told the Jews they could come to Krakow. They came. They trundled their belongings into the city. They settled. They took hold. They prospered in business, science, education, the arts. With nothing they came and with nothing they flourished. For six centuries there has been a Jewish Krakow. By this evening those six centuries will be a rumor. They never happened. Today is history.” - Amon Goeth, Schindler’s List

Muslims are like Mormons...totally non-historical, until their “prophet” comes along.

Time for Jews to riot, stone people and burn mosques. Oh, wait... Jews, being civilized, don’t do that. Burn a few “fairy-tale” books, like the koran, and watch the mohammedans go crazy. Insane book... insane people.

Would I get away with saying the same thing about Muslims and their history? How about if I created a teevee show called “GMB?” Would that be ok?

Tents and camel/goat dung don't tend to leave much archaeological evidence.

What war was chronicled by Josephus, Vespasian, and Titus? Who were the Romans fighting in 70 AD? The Smurfs?

And in the meantime, back in New York and New Jersey and North Carolina, people in my family bask in the comfortable fantasy that all this talk from Islam is really nothing at all, that the real problem is the right-wing Republicans who want to take away birth control pills and install a theocratic rule forcing kids to pray in school, as well as prevent loving gay people from marrying each other.

I understand now why the Old Testament is filled with images of prophets standing outside the walls of the city, while the people inside lead their lives and ignore the signs in front of their faces. The modern equivalent is the Jew who consistently votes for the left while ignoring the savages who bray about killing them in genocidal fury. I love my relatives, but I also fear for their lives. I am most afraid that they will not understand their error until it is too late - which, in fact, it might be already.

God help us.

2,000 years ago, when my people - the Jews - were building homes, writing poetry and running small businesses, his were living in tents full of goat shit and blaming others for their misery.

Nothing has changed.

I’ve always considered Islam to be a re-interpreted, knock-off copy of Judaism and Christianity.

For anyone creating a new religion, they will always be starting from the existing cultural milieu around them. We see the same thing from cultists and new religious branches in our own society.

For someone in the Arabian Peninsula in the 7th century having “visions” - what dominant, “successful” religions would he see around him? What would be an acceptable starting point? It would be Judaism and Christianity. Like most cultists - Mohammed just takes what society already has, complete with the monotheism, prophets and even the angels of Judaism and Christianity, and adds his own completing and final “revelations.” His “visions” also wedded Christianity and Judaism to the existing Arab, nomad, tribal culture.

The one I prefer is....the jews were eating from gold cutlery while the muslims were still eating with their unwashed hands.

Still the case today.
