WASHINGTON (AP) -- Days before a crucial Republican presidential primary in Michigan, President Barack Obama is claiming credit for the U.S. auto industry rebound in the state.
His re-election campaign is launching a new television ad in the state on Friday highlighting the revival of General Motors and Chrysler following a multibillion-dollar federal bailout.

GMAC/ALLY is using your tax money to buy 450 Credit Score CREDIT CRIMINALS on new GM cars to boost the sagging Obama Economic Output Numbers.

Nothing matters but the PERCEPTION of improvement, at least until November 2012. After that, who cares. It’s not like Democrats are spending THEIR money on this stuff, anyway.

I have been a general sales manager of a new car dealership since 1990. Yes, Ally is pretty much approving anyone that is capable of fogging a mirror on a new GM or Chrysler product. I would bet money that half of Ally’s business is under a 650 score, and that is their PRIME unit, they also have a subprime division. On the Ford side of our dealership, probably 2/3 of the customers are 750 or better. The ones that Ford doesn’t want, get put in a Dodge with an Ally approval. It’s only a matter of time, I’ve seen it all before! I am the source for that info, we definitely did some as low as 508 score this week.
