If you were to ask an OPC member if they believed in double predestination, they would say yes.

I will do just that. An old friend of mine is in the OPC. When I get an answer, I'll let you know.

I must stop paying for it.

The Church does much more with its funds.

Continue to be the squeaky wheel. Educate yourself on theology and challenge them on points that are simply wrong.

A priest tried to suggest that the lower life expectancies in the largely black section of our town was related to health care. I confronted him with the facts that it has more to do with drug violence and deaths of young black men. It did shut him up on that point.

If you have Satellite XM/Sirius radio you can listen to daily Mass live from St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. Cardinal-Designate Timothy Dolan and the other priests will not let you down with their homilies.

The Catholic Channel 129

M-F 7:30AM Rebroadcast at 11:00AM
Sat 8:00AM
Sunday 10:15AM

I would also recommend a subscription to the Magnificat which is published by the Dominican Fathers. The Magnificat has daily readings of the Mass of the Day.

I don’t attend services online, but I love to listen to audio sermons online. My favorite is Lester Roloff, and the older fundamentalist preachers. They are all in Heaven with the Lord now, and when I listen to some of their sermons, I wonder if they know from Heaven just how prescient they were regarding the escalating wickedness of this world. I wonder if even with what they already knew, they could’ve imagined the evil occurring now.
