"I regret the fact that the president felt he had to do it, but he had to do it," . . .

"...its birth control coverage mandate but said the decision "can be lived with."

I see a bit of irony in that statement.

Another Senator who swore to protect and defend the Constitution, decides it’s OK to trample all over it just for free birth control.

My God, where have we gone?

In other words, she regrets that the President wasn’t able to order companies to commit murder of the unborn in the name of “women’s health”.

Standard Dem tactic. They got 95% of what they wanted, but act ‘disappointed and upset’ because that will make the IDIOT REPUBLICANS will walk away thinking they won.

Bottom line, 99% of employers will now directly pay for abortions, and the other 1% of employers will pay indirectly.

With victories like this, why bother being a political party.

“While the faith-based employers will be able to opt out of the rule, insurance companies will be required to provide such coverage at no cost to the employer. “

Wait... does this mean that Obama just forced a private entity (insurance company) to give FREE contraceptives to EVERY EMPLOYEE IN EVERY CATHOLIC HOSPITAL???

No cost to the employer? That means the insurance company has to give the coverage with NO PREMIUM FOR IT.

Good God! Pray the SCOTUS overturns this monstrosity.

Dear dim bulb:

There was no compromise. Dear Leader just hid the pea under a different shell.

(perhaps not so dim after all. I expect she is just role playing so D L can say things about “opposition from my own party. Lame though it be)

Sleight of hand, and she knows it. Catholic hospitals (and everyone else in America) will pay for it. He didn’t give anything up. We didn’t win anything.

He is ruling by decree. He needs to be removed from office.

You’re right, there was no compromise and if anything this second approach is worse and even more draconian than the first one. And Feinstein most certainly knows that, but she and Pelosi and the other shills are just making these little noises so Bambi can show how magnanimous and reasonable he was in addressing the concerns of those nutty men in the pointy hats...

Feinstein regrets Obama's birth control compromise

All I have to remember about this POS ditch is her response to a delegation from the California Central Valley pleading for more water for agriculture, to continue being able to feed the country.

Too bad; it's the LAW. Deal with it.

End of story.
