Empty, as all of those I’m talking about are?
Only when it applies to someone else. We’re banned from whatever they don’t want us to have, and it’s their right to have that same thing.
Yes, empty. If it rains while you are on the oceans you can collect the water in your clothes or any other way you can come up with and squeeze it into your plastic bottle for storage. If you are able to catch a turtle or something you can squeeze the blood into the bottle and at least save the liquid for a little while. If push really comes to shove you can also pee in it and if it is a matter of survival drink it if you must. The difference between people who survived a situation without water and those who didn't has sometimes come down to those who were willing to drink their pee and those who weren't.
Also, if you are stranded with only dirty water as a source and you don't want to get sick you can gently boil it a ways from the fire and get it to be drinkable.
That being said I love glass. If possible I try to get things in glass and store my leftovers and keep my liquids in glass. It has become harder to find glass and generally can be more expensive.
When I was little glass containers such as pop and beer bottles you brought back to the store for a refund and they were used over. The milkman brought your milk to your door and you left him your empty bottles. Things might have seemed less efficient in the old days but it often was a wiser economy. I don't think glass is a pollutant either.
I let our gerbils chew them up. They love cardboard.
I like the glass baby bottles. Don’t know if they are any easier to find now, but we had a hard time locating them in 90’s with my first. Of course they all got broken over time, but I liked them over plastic because of sanitation.
The majority of time I see garbage in or at the side of the road, know what it is?
Mickey D stuff.
The only reason everyone started using plastic was because the whiney liberals of my time were complaining about cutting down trees (a crop, long term, still a crop) to make paper bags.
Of course, having the brains of a five year old (lack of development due to stupid parents) they couldn’t take their “victory” and now attack the vessel they conned corporations into using.
Once the same wussies CEO’s cave to plastic, as they are doing, here come the canvas bags. Soon the whiney libs will be claiming they cause cancer.
It seems to me the only way to stop this twilight zone pattern is to just shoot these morons and quit giving money to companies that cave into their stupid demands.
Since zombie movies are so popular we need to portray liberal lefties as such and declare open season.
Disclaimer for lib trolls: It’s a joke. You know, like Lenny Bruce, one of your icons. Today you’d arrest him for being politically incorrect you lousy excuses for human life. And to think these people like abortion. Again libs, practice what you preach.
