6 CENTS of every 100 DOLLARS. Yup, that is all PP was getting from the Komen Foundation

My point is that the left is going to make a major issue out of a measly 6 cents on every $100. Even Brian Williams at NBC, CBS, ABC lead with this rhubarb tonight. They can’t STAND the idea that PP would lose donations over the 1,000 babies they help abort every day because pro-life Americans are finally saying enough is enough.

Sorry you didn’t read the point in the headline.

I’m sure that the Komen Foundation does good work and helps a lot of people.....BUT....the only reason they stopped funding the abortionists is because the abortionists are under investigation. Not because they oppose abortion. After the investigation is over, then whatever I donate now could very well be donated to the abortionists. No thanks.

Just 6 out of every 100 babies killed, then, you could say.

I wouldn’t say that. I gave zero out of every 100 dollars to PP.

Komen, by the way, is supposed to be for breast cancer eradication.

PP contributes to the incidence of breast CA. I knew this at least 10 years ago. Komen knew too.

I stopped contributing to Komen, in fact, when I found out about the connection between breast CA and abortion. I rightly thought that since Komen was not coming out saying anything about the connection then they must be involved with abortion. And they are. In fact, they cannot get out. They won’t get out unscathed. It is a mafia.

Would it make you feel better if that measley 6 cents are returned back to PP?

You seems to be awfully worried about how Brian Williams at NBC, CBS, ABC is leading with this rhubarb tonight

You are not making sense here. Nobody is catching your point. And every reply you make leads us to think more and more you are a pro-abort troll.

No, they have not stopped nor have they renounced their connection nor have they pointed out the connection between abortion and breast cancer.

WHat they have done, for those of you who thrive on headlines w/o reading, is suspended their contributions pending legal inquiry.

Komen is not serious about their fight against breast cancer until they broadcast the causative nature of abortion to breast cancer. It exists; it is a logical theory that has been statisically proven and it is not recognized by them.

They don’t get my support

Don’t believe that figure for a moment. Scoundrels, many of whom are politicians and Mafioso, long ago figured out that direct payments should be minimized.

Mafia dons living in mansions, being chauffeured in expensive cars, eating in fine restaurants, etc., while their take home pay is minimum wage. “I only make $22,000 a year! And I pay all my taxes! I am a respectable businessman.”

It’s much worse with corporations and NGOs. Literally hundreds of tricks to conceal money transfers, spending, income, etc. Government does a lot of these tricks, too.

So how much does Komen really give PP? Great question. I’m guessing anywhere from $10m+

Shared resources, staff and lobbyists, commingled accounts, misdirected donations, outright money laundering. The list goes on an on.

My apologies. I guess I have to make everything perfectly clear in anything I post. I should know because I raised 3 kids. That alone should have been lesson enough to know that it isn’t enough that 70% understand your point - it needs to be 99% even if you have to write it at the 8th grade level.

You know, you could be right! Judging by the amount of whining and complaining PP is doing and running for help on this from the George Soros group and the media. They are either terrified that this is just the beginning of a run on the bank from other contributors or they are really losing some big money.

So? Its $600k they won’t have now. Which means $600k less to support their agenda of killing babies.

The comments at the Dallas News just made me sick! Then I see that Senator Boxer (Ma’am) questioned Nancy Brinker (CEO of Komen Foundatoin) if this was politically motivated. It sounded like Ma’am was trying to force Komen to change their mind and donate to PP.

Since WHEN does anyone DONATING money to anyone else have to explain why they quit? Several Senators have called on Komen to resume the donation... This is just NUTS!

I’m glad they finally saw that their money wasn’t being spent well and decided that their grants needed different guidelines. I haven’t given nor participated in any of their events since I heard of their support of PP. Now, I might think about donating again.

The fact that they offered a single penny tells me all that I need to know. That penny was more valuable to them being in the hands of another organization than in their own hands.

God for you. I think they are really being bombarded, btw. The pro-aborts have called out the winged monkeys.

I have read about it, and while they have made no statement, even the fact of suspending their payments has enraged the pro-abortion sector and they are under severe attack from their former supporters.

This is the time to encourage the Komen Foundation, not to criticize it. They do a lot of good work and that should be acknowledged. But if the pro-abortionists are turned against them, that could be a seriously difficult thing for them and unless other people step forward to support them...not only financially, but with letters of support...they’ll be driven back into the arms of PP.

So, the Komen Foundation gave $600,000.00 to a group that has murdered OVER 25 MILLION INNOCENT AMERICANS and it doesn't bother you?

Are you aware that Free Republic is a PRO-LIFE forum that doesn't support Big Murder?

I’m sorry, but those Komen people strike me as some kind of weird vampires or something.

They harassed and sued a couple other groups that wanted to use pink, seems to me they should be happy for any other groups joining their cause, but guess not!

If breast cancer was cured tomorrow, they’d all have to get off their butts, quit all the walking around with ribbons, and get real jobs!

BRIAN WILLIAMS thought it important enough to lead with and admonished how women wouldn’t be able to get breast exams now.

Not a single Planned Parenthood clinic has ever performed a single mammogram, they don't own a single mammogram machine and Komen knew it.

Komen Sends Women to Planned Parenthood for Nonexistent Mammograms

You are of course correct in that they don’t own a mammogram machine, but their point is they pay for mammograms. Of course, money being fungible, a dollar sent to PP for mammograms means they have another dollar for abortions. Time to support Komen for doing the right thing even though they arae years late in making the move.
