Because of your history with Speaker Gingrich, what goes through your mind when you think of the possibility, which is more real today than it was a week or a month ago, that he would be the Republican nominee and that you could come back here next January or next February with a President Gingrich?"
Rep. Nancy Pelosi: "Let me just say this. That will never happen."
King: "Why?"
Pelosi: "He's not going to be President of the United States. That's not going to happen. Let me just make my prediction and stand by it, it isn't going to happen."
King: "Why are you so sure?"
Pelosi: "There is something I know. The Republicans, if they choose to nominate him that's their prerogative. I don't even think that's going to happen."

Dirt is a resume enhancement on the rats. Hell Barny Frank was running a MALE PROSTITUTION ring out of his house and that didn’t hurt him with his constituency. Ted Kennedy killed a woman and had zero impact on his ability to be elected. Bill Clinton got oral sex in the oval office from an intern and his ratings went up.
We need to find “good” things about the rats to turn off their base. And finding good things is a lot harder to do when dealing with politicians—especially on the rat side of the aisle.

Pelosi told Talking Points Memo that she would reveal damaging material about Gingrich “when the time is right.”
“One of these days we’ll have a conversation about Newt Gingrich,” Pelosi said. “When the time is right. … I know a lot about him. I served on the investigative committee that investigated him, four of us locked in a room in an undisclosed location for a year. A thousand pages of his stuff.”
