Here are my previous covers. I wish I could fit Castigo Cay onto that bar and make the triple a foursome.

Thanks - looking forward to reading it. Kindle is just a great thing when you run out of reading material in the middle of a TDY!

If they couldn’t even put a bill on the floor this year, I wonder when they will ever be able to do it.

I rather like to picture Travis on his boat anchored in some calm picturesque lagoon with a refreshing beverage in his hand and numerous buxom females cavorting about.

That was in my younger days, but there was only one cavorting female.
We're still together, BTW.

Im saddened and a bit outraged that it took a year for her to decide.A full year when the people of her district had no representation in the House.******************************
Agreed. Imho, it seemed clear fairly early on that serious damage was done, damage that was unlikely to be repaired.

Yep, you were right and I was wrong about a high-cap mag ban coming out of the Giffords shooting. If they could have they would have.

"I wouldn't put it past the Obama/Holder team, if they thought they could get away with it. "The way they see it is they're by G-d gonna get away with it. They haven't given up on anything, they're just biding their time.
All they gotta do is have more votes counted for them than for Gingrich (what it's lookin like now, anyway) and in their next term they'll do it by executive order, using Ms. Giffords and her husband as props.

This week the DoD wrote a letter to the owner of Georgia Arms and informed him that from now on the DoD will be destroying the spent brass, shredding it. It will no longer be available to the ammo makers, unless they buy it in a scrap shredded condition (which they have no use for). There was some truth to it a few years ago, but Constitutional activists raised such a ruckus that Congress passed legislation to correct the situation. I guess old emails never die, they just keep circulating around the net.

I agree, if the communist traitor mole gets a second term, nothing is off of the table. Nothing.

FWIW, the 'under the radar' gun control known as F&F put any legislative gun control on the back burner, to insulate the perpetual campaign of der reader...
give bambam 4 more yrs, or the kingdom for life, and yer mag ban will be small taters compared to the stuff they already have printed for submission...
might outta double down on the bet...

Don’t worry I will be willing to bet that Gabrielle Giffords will take time out of her recovery to campaign for whoever is running for the Democrat Ticket in her district. She said herself she wants to comeback and serve the people again.....2016? Will she run for McCain’s Senate seat??
To: Farmer Dean
A full year when the people of her district had no representation in the House.

Yes, you would almost think she was running for Prez or another higher office.
Bob Dole had many faults, was the wrong man for the nomination etc but at least he (seemed to) had the courtesy to and respect for his constituents to resign his Senate seat while he ran for Higher Office = whatever his real motive.
At least it gives the appearance that his constituents are ‘being served’ and they can always vote him back in.
Also it would be nice if the fund raising were limited to the people who were able to vote for you.
Of course, if that happens Billions of dollars wouldn’t be wasted on a 1/4 million dollar job.
It seems that with the 2 yr Congressional terms, the occupant is forced to collect money 24/7 and continously campaign for the NEXT election.
Pitiful....
