Love to see Baltimore go to Indianapolis, play against the former Baltimore Raven/Indianapolis Colt Quaterback Jim Harbaugh, and have the Mayflower moving company volunteer to bring back the Superbowl trophy, handed to Joe Flacco by BALTIMORE Colt legend Raymond Berry----back to Baltimore for free.

Never Forget

The Niners win by fourteen and the Patriots win by ten. The Pat opponent isn’t ready for Brady’s evisceration of their secondary but the Pats will try to run a lot today, keeping it a low scoring game. In honor of Bender, the Gints don’t have the speed to stay with the Niners.

I'm a 49er Faithful. But I loved reading this story:
FOXBORO (CBS) New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, speaking from Gillette Stadium on Friday, remembers back to when he first met Tom Brady. The 22-year-old Brady was just as confident as the 34-year-old version that takes the field every Sunday for the Patriots.
I still have the image of Tom Brady coming down the old Foxboro stadium steps with that pizza box under his arm, a skinny beanpole, and when he introduced himself to me and said Hi Mr. Kraft, he was about to say who he was, but I said I know who you are, youre Tom Brady. Youre our sixth round draft choice, recalled Kraft.
And he looked me in the eye and he said Im the best decision this organization has ever made. It looks like he could be right.

Agreed with the outcome but I think the pats will win by two TDs.
Would love to see an East Coast / West Coast match up with NY fans crying in their ketchup clam chowder.

Go Ravens and 49ers..
I agree. I'm not fond of any of these teams (being ‘Boys fan) but, the Giants and Patriots can definitely go pound sand.

especially when he had that frightened deer-in-the-headlights look back when the Giants sent him and the Patriots packing several Superbowls back.

I don’t have a dog in this fight but expect two excellent games, with a 49’ers and Pat’s Super Bowl.

Hold the ketchup!!
Sorry. The Giants are on a bigger roll. They are the under dogs with the opinions of others. I love it. If they beat Green bay by upset on Green Bay turf. It will be a Giant victory on west coast real estate too.
Eli Manning is smoking hot in the last couple of games. He is on a roll.
IMHO! Oh the bravado we have this time of year for our teams!! It is a fun time of year. May the best team win!! Going to be a Fun day!! LOL

I live about 40 miles north of SF and it started raining here about 7 AM this morning. Has continued all day. It will be wet and muddy for the game.
To: doug from upland
I think its going to be a Giants / Pats Superbowl.
Of course I'd like nothing more than to see another Manning beat Brady in Indianapolis.

I think both teams can play well on a sloppy track with two pretty good ground games. So, it's a wash I'd say.

Steven Tyler butchered the National Anthem. How so? I admit I wasnt listening all that closely. Did he butcher the lyrics? From what I heard of it, he sang it pretty straight, no crazy embellishments. I was expecting it to be worse to be honest.

... Did he butcher the lyrics?A very straight rendention, I agree, and entirely satisfactory. I thought maybe he paused before "brave", just to play on his controversial "home of the Indianapolis 500" finish a few years ago. At that time I thought, "Well ok ... just don't do it again." And he didn't, at least this time.

He sang it correctly, he just didnt sing it well. I thought that given Steven Tyler doesn't sing all that well to begin with, at least to my ears, I thought he did a pretty decent job, he really could have gone all crazy like he does with his songs, but he tried to sing it pretty straight - IMO. But then again when I heard it announced that he was singing, my expectations were pretty low.
To: dr_lew

What the NFL and Bob Irsay did to Baltimore cannot in any way compare to Art Model and the Browns moving to Baltimore. Cleveland has a team again and they are called the Browns and all the history and memorabilia of the Browns stayed in Cleveland unlike what happened to Baltimore.
Unlike Indianapolis, like most former Colts fans, we in Baltimore were not rubbing it in Clevelands face and were very supportive of letting Cleveland keep the Browns name and memorabilia and supportive of them getting an NFL team. Art Model showed class; Bob Irsay OTHO was a lying cheating drunk.
