Great to hear from you SC!

Your wisdom is always appreciated.

Last night was more important than we knew.

Seems 25% of the vote in SC last night was by indys. Newt carried them as well which could be a sign that he can take it all.

I still worry about Newt's unfavorables. Any sense as to how important they are or are not?

Build it anyway...

Well, ND to the Gulf is 95% of the project, as North Dakota is a border state. So that is the general idea.

Can you find a list of those who got contributions in the PAC from Romney?

Then compare it to those who endorsed Romney. IOW Romney buys his endorsements.....So did the Clintons.

Yes, Newt’s negatives are important but they can be overcome. I share your concerns about the Indy vote. However Newt can win them in the Media war with the O mania media machine. Romney and Santroum cannot.

Newt is not a good shot, he just happens to be our best shot at taking out the 0 regime propaganda machine

Agreed, but her hatred of the unwashed masses makes you think her whole career was simply a shtick to make money.

How can you go to being a spokesman for the little guy to supporting the NE Rino establishment candidate and lecturing the little guy for doing what you argued for him to do in the beginning?

Either you were lying then or you are lying now. Maybe she’s just trying to make points with her Liberal boyfriend? Either way her career with the Conservative movement is over.

While Annie may get her gun

its ceased to be any fun.

She hates Newt and loves the fat guy

seems like she's pretty easy to buy.

Put Sarah Palin next to her and

watch her fade away with out even a purr.

since their niche in the media market depends on Conservatives being angry outsiders.

Yes, I'd like to hear some insight from Jo Nuvark on the Delphi Technique as it relates to whats going on here.

By Detroit they mean the auto industry, and if you mean there is a heartbeat then yes it is a comeback. The city itself is a crime infested sewer, and the surrounding suburbs are what keeps the region alive. Sadly the locusts are making there way around out here now. All you need to do is look at the bordering cities and there steady rise in crime to know what the eventual outcome will be.

This is the weird thing. When ever a Conservative media figure marries or dates a Liberal in the Media, they always end up turning hard left. It is like a form of brainwashing.

When ever you see some Conservative icon of days gone by popping up as a mouth piece of the Leftist media, there is almost always a new Leftist spouse or significat other in the equation.

Amen, Miss Marple. God Bless America.

We’ll miss you.

I’ve tried to take sabbaticals from free republic when things got a little vicious here, but the longest one lasted 3 days.

It’s an addiction, but better than meth amphetimine, I guess.

Drop in when you can, and have a wonderful time in England. I’ve always wanted to go there ... and I speak the language... sort of.

Good analysis John.

Looks like Newt did pretty good with the indy vote last night.

Christina van den Wacko is all enthralled about the occupiers. Evidently, they are her kind of America. She's a bad trip now on ABC,

I don’t think Perry would take veep. I’ve heard him disparage it and he has a good job already in politics.

There is a possibility (in my mind) that he would take a high cabinet post if he thought he could be effective.

I think it was Mark Steyn that said it best about who ran Detroit and who ran Michigan. Looks like people getting what they voted for.

“I kinda doubt that Newt’s unfavorables rise to the level cited by Brit Hume yesterday.”

Brit and most other FNS types have spent the last 2 days badmouthing Newt. Hard left turn and losing my viewership rapidly. Who can we turn to for “fair/balanced”?

Trip the best candidate.

Newt can and will recover many of the naysayers.

Since Mitt is 0-light he is our only hope!

You gotta wonder what alternative universe some of these wackos live in.

Once again Christina van den gargle says that we don't need oil for the oil companies to benefit from but green energy.

These people have no concept of reality at all only Marxist theology.
