Russia has given Iran its bear hug and warns Israel and the West that an attack on Tehran would be considered an attack on Moscow. The threat heightens the prospect of World War III in the event of a military strike on Iran.
“Iran is our neighbor,” Russia's outgoing ambassador to NATO, Dmitry Rogozin, told reporters in Brussels. “And if Iran is involved in any military action, it’s a direct threat to our security.”

I guess they don’t care then if Iran gets nukes and starts a nuke war with Israel which they will do because they are psychopaths. Yes, radioactive fallout does wonders for the Russian climate.

That would settle things as a stalemate; if Russia puts Iran under its nuclear umbrella, and we announce that an attack on Israel would trigger a response from us, you end up with a Mexican standoff.

With many promises of support there is always lot more said then done. With a weak president in the White House a little saber rattling is a smart move for the Russians they need oil just like everybody else does. This is a game the Russians know well, they are masters at chess and positioning themselves to an advantage.
I think they called it Mutual Assured Destruction.

Oh, I know what: Our Appeaser in Chief will no doubt react to this "warning" by trying to find something else of value (like some more of our Secrets maybe?) to pass on to the (CONTINUED) "Evil Empire" in an effort to mollify the despot and gangsta thug Putin (birds of a feather, both are, the difference being Putin actually has a "pair") in the hopes he will back off, but fair warning, Russia has never been our friend and never will be, the same as ANY Islamic controlled country.
