Ron Paul Praises Occupy Wall Street
The Weekly Standard ^ | Dec 29, 2011 | John Mccormack

Posted on 01/13/2012 3:11:36 AM PST by detective

While campaigning in Iowa on Wednesday, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul praised the Occupy Wall Street movement, comparing it to the Tea Party movement. "In many ways, I identify with both groups," Paul said. Both groups are fed up with problems in Washington and "the two-party-system," Paul said while speaking at an insurance company in Des Moines.

Praising the left-wing Occupy Wall Street movement is an unusual move for a Republican presidential candidate, but Ron Paul is, of course, an unusual Republican presidential candidate. He jumped to first place in the Iowa caucus polls partly because of support from people who aren't Republicans. His comments that members of the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street are unhappy with the "two-party system" could fuel speculation that Paul will make a third-party bid of his own--something he has not ruled out.

A well rehearsed Ron Paul zombie called Mark Levin last night and it was brutal.
Mark knew ALL about the half conservative half socialist imbecile and ripped the poor man to shreds.

Paul hates an America that won't fall at his feet and if he feels dissed he will do his best to destroy it—and helping the Marxist in Chief win reelection is one way for the little nut to do it.

Sooner or later, it is my expectation that Ron Paul will begin looking for real estate in Guyana
and the exodus will begin, right after he fails in this campaign, just like the last campaign.

An organization called Student Scholars for 9/11 Truth video taped an inpromtu appearance with Ron Paul and recorded some of his comments. They can be found

While Ron Paul has said on TV shows such as Glen Beck that he dismisses the major theories, he openly says there is a coverup of what went on yet refuses to

elaborate on just what is covered up. The 9/11 Comission clearly showed that intelligence failures happened because of Clinton era laws that prevented our

inteligence agancies from communicating with each other.

On the website CONSPIRACY PLANET, information about Ron Paul and issues similar to this can be found:

Ron Paul has publically said that the CIA has accomplished a coup against America and needs to be taken out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dECSYm5bSM

A direct quote from this conference is as such:
(January 20, 2010) House Rep. Ron Paul says the CIA has in effect carried out a “coup” against the US government, and the intelligence agency needs to be

“taken out.”

Speaking to an audience of like-minded libertarians at a Campaign for Liberty regional conference in Atlanta this past weekend, the Texas Republican said:

“There’s been a coup, have you heard? It’s the CIA coup. The CIA runs everything, they run the military. They’re the ones who are over there lobbing missiles

and bombs on countries...”

Additional video proof of him saying this here:

And here is one prominant website that supports the 9/11 conspiracy theories, calling for a RON PAUL PROVISIONAL ARMY to take over after we investigate the

9/11 events:

Among the other kooky connections to Ron Paul, is a UFO COnnection. I have yet to find the original article, but numerous articles repeat the belief of Ron

Paul’s that UFO’s are real. Some of the Ron Paul sites have soeone trying to mock this belief, but the Ron Paul site, DailyPaul.com says this:

This has been repeated again in San Francisco, not known to support conservatives or Libertarians anyways, but associated with Ron Paul out there were UFO

enthusiasts mentioned in this article:

As homosexual Army soldier Bradley Manning’s treason trial continues at Fort Meade, Maryland, the support he has received from Republican presidential

candidate Ron Paul has been curiously ignored by the major media, now touting Paul as someone who could win the January 3 Iowa Republican Caucuses. Paul has

called Manning, a crossdresser with acknowledged mental problems, a “hero” and “patriot” for stealing government secrets and providing them to WikiLeaks.

Occupy is primarily a socialist and communist movement. It is pro-totalitarianism and anti-freedom. It is the antithesis of libertarianism.

Paulmis a fraud.

I think Ron Paul will run as an independent. He draws enough support from the dissatisfied in both parties - would be foolish to underestimate him.

He’s certainly misread OWS, either unitentionally or intentionally. Either way it doesn’t matter. He’s wrong. However, everyone else in the race is wrong on just about everything else.

Although “some people like to paint Occupy left and the Tea Party people right," Paul said, "I think it makes my point. There’s a lot of people unhappy, and they’re not so happy with the two-party system because we have had people go in and out of office, congress changes, the presidency changes, they run on one thing, they do something else. Nothing ever changes."

"The Tea Party and Occupy people are just tired of it all," he said. "And they would like to see changes."

Yeah that Ron Paul is such a kook.

Ron Paul doesn’t “hate” America, where in the world do you get that from? I don’t think he can win nomination because there are too many Dems and GOP that have government jobs that he would get rid of! That’s the issue.

And the US isn’t going to be invaded by Mongols or something if he was elected, we are way too strong. But, he’s can’t win -— BUT, you can send a message that you want smaller gov’t by voting for him. Something to think about.
