Video: Mitt Romney In 2003 Denounces Classical Republican View On Corporations
RealClearPolitics ^ | January 11, 2012 | Staff

"There are some, if you will, classical Republicans, and I don't want to be political here. The classical Republican approach is to say you know what makes America so great is our great corporations. And if we just clear the decks so that corporations can be more successful and give them more money, and make it easier for them to succeed. Well, then we will do even better on the world stage. I don't happen to subscribe to that traditional Republican caricature," Romney said. (h/t Andrew Kaczynski)

More wafflemeister.

To be sure, corporations and companies figure prominently in any robust free enterprise system, but one-man businesses do well too, and businesses come in all sizes. It’s misleading to talk about huge corporations as though they were the be all and end all of free enterprise.

Hypocrite Romney says Bain is good but he doesn't like insurance companies. So much so he tells a lie about them:

Asked about the previous day's statement by a reporter just after Romney emerged from his campaign bus, he said: "I was talking about, as you know, insurance companies. We'd all like to get rid of our insurance companies."

Someone ought to make sure Newt gets ahold of this doozy.

Well, lessee...in '03 Myth did not agree with or compare himself to "classic" Republican ideals and today he compares his Bain days to ObamaMotors.

Sheesh...Newt couldn't ask for better ad material - and Rombama's handing it to him on a platter.

I’d love to ask Romney , if he could go back and have a do-over is there anything he’d do differently?

After watching “The Day Mitt Romney Came to Town” and all the hurt he caused,
I wonder if he has any regrets.

Been tweeting this out all night. Glad to see it here. I also tweeted it to Sean Hannity with a note saying it's not Newt trashing capitalism. So sick of him pimping for Romney.

We have a fight on our hands. Keep up the good work Patriots. Thanks for the pings TitansAFC.

I would love this quote if he were talking about GE or GM or Goldman Sachs. But we know he means the corporations thet refuse to play the fascism game.

Milt has no more regrets at funneling the treasure and leaving families jobless that he regrets banking the porn profits he was paid to sit on the Marriott Board. All that reality will surface with a bang from the DNC propaganda machine (read mainstream media whoredom) as soon as Milt is the chosen opposition to the media’s little bassturd demigod, Barry Soetoro. The time for cleaning up media with the guillotine solution has long passed.

I’d forgotten all about Romney’s Marriott porn profit story!

The stealth romneybots attacking Newt for his three marriages and the circumstance of each are the epitome of hypocrisy as they ignore the tens of thousands Romeny banked from Marriott porn profits, and J.Willard’s embracing porn for profit at his hotel chains. That’s just bidness don’tchaknow.

Like Newt says, Romney’s business model is NOT fit for the presidency.

Romney reminds me of my favorite line from THE FUGITIVE about the REAL killer :
“He’s DIRTY!”

Yes, Rush opened his arrogant mouth without knowing the actual facts. He isn’t even entertaining anymore.
