Which means we do not get to fight with the Toledo sword. That is off the table. Gone. Bent pipes, broken sticks, and dirty bricks are what we have. Because we have to fight. There is no option. We have to fight and win with what we’ve got. We can win, even with a bent lead pipe.

Reminds me of the famous scene, immortalized in the last segment of the "Samauri Trilogy", where the legendary Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi (as played by the Toshiro Mifune) goes to battle with his rival at sunrise on a deserted island.

Musashi famously fought the match with a wooden sword, as a symbol of his supreme confidence and skill.
