Report: Joseph Kennedy III Likely To Announce Run For House Seat (B Frank)

Just what Congress needs, a new Kennedy. Don’t underestimate the sheeple mentality here in Mass, especially in Fwank’s ultra-liberal district. They have no problem voting for someone based solely on his last name.

(FOX 25/MyFoxBoston.com) — There is new speculation that Joseph P. Kennedy III is ready to run for Congress.

Sources close to Kennedy have told Rhode Island Public Radio that the 31-year-old son of former Congressman Joe Kennedy is setting up fundraisers and taking a serous look at running for the seat left open by the retirement of Barney Frank.

The younger Kennedy is a Harvard Law School graduate and is currently a Middlesex County prosecutor. He could announce his plans within a week.

Don't know if he'll be as dumb as "Patches" but he's def. be a lefty "do you know who I am?", winner of the lucky sperm contest (benefit of the last name/parentage)

He’s not “looking”, he’s been waiting for the right opening and this is it. Sadly, say hello to another Kennedy in Congress.

Frank decided to not run for re-election because re-districting put some conservative-leaning towns in his
district. But despite that, the prospect of having a Kennedy
in the MA 4th district will drive voters to the polls. They will gush over him. Hope Sean Bielat will run again—his
strong showing last time put a scare into Barney—but can
he beat a member of the Kennedy Crime Family?

Currently his dad, former 8th dist. rep., bombards the airwaves of Boston TV and radio with his “Citizens Energy”
deal, brought to you by Chavez and “the good people of
Venezuela”.

The thought occurs, why aren't the OWS scum in Hyannisport? If any family typifies the “one percenters”, it is the Kennedys. Oh, I forgot, they're liberal ‘Rats, so that lets them off.

Exactly.
btw suppose Brown beats Warren in the upcoming election (if he did it would be just barely). Come 2018, Joe Kennedy III
could well be finishing his third term as a U.S. Rep and the
“Kennedy For Senate” signs would come out of the basement
again.

This kid’s father was named after Joe Kennedy Jr. (JFK’s brother who died young).

Wouldn’t that make his dad Joe III?

Wouldn’t that make this candidate (the fourth Joe Kennedy in the family) Joe Kennedy IV?

That's a wild picture on my monitor. The stars seem to move when the screen is scrolled.

Now back to business. The last thing this country needs is more of the Permanent Ruling Class.

You would think so. Acc. to Wikipedia (who knows if this is true):
Joseph Patrick Kennedy “Sr”—the patriarch
“ “ “ “Jr.”—the son who died in the war.

” “ “ “II”—son of RFK, former US congressman. Technically he would be III, wouldn’t he?

And this one is “III” but really should be “IV”. From what I can gather all of the Joes have Patrick for a middle name.
But Joe II is not the son of “Joe Jr”, he’s the son of
RFK. Maybe that is why this is?

For the record THIS Kennedy is a twin, born in 1980; his
brother is Matthew Rauch Kennedy. Joe II’s first wife
was Sheila Rauch...they got the marriage annulled. (Or at
least HE did.)

Coakley couldn't get the minorities down to the polls in enough numbers and I don't think Warren has changed that problem.

Coakley campaigned as if the seat was her’s. Warren will have to visit the Brockton’s, Lawrence's, Roxbury’s and New Bedford’s promising more government handouts and dishing out more evil Republican scare stories often.

This will be a close race.

They would never protest at the homes of the Kennedys, or Michael Moore’s house, etc. They think the same. Also at least in the case of the former, Hyannisport is a bit out of the way while, say, Dewey Sq. Boston is easier for the TV stations and newspapers to get to. Would TV cover a protest by Tea Partiers next to the compound? Doubt it—and the cops would get rid of them right away. There would be no
Occupy Kennedy Compound for the tea party. (We wouldn’t
Occupy anyway.)

Story from from father, who used to live on the Cape: One day my Dad any my stepmother were out for a drive and someone in a car asked them where the Kennedy compound was.
“We’ll show you the way to it,” my dad said, and drove toward the Kennedy Compound. The car (I think he said it
had out of state license plates) stopped and a man got out;
blind or lame, and he was led to the fence. The man
put one hand on the fence, smiled, and turned to his
driver: “OK, let’s go.”

It was a shrine. Just to have touched the fence...this is
what it has come to.
