Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said Tuesday that he’s not worried about the muddled state of affairs in the Republican presidential primary and predicts the party “will have a nominee pretty quickly.”

“It’s a horse race. There’s no doubt about it. Let’s put this in perspective. We haven’t had one single primary yet,” said Priebus on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” “We’ll get there. And we will have a nominee pretty quickly.”

Priebus dismissed worries that there is currently no clear leader in the GOP contest and said it was nothing for Republicans to worry about.

I agree. Quit listening to the left wing hype. The process we are going through right now is healthy and we will nominate a qualified candidate who will beat Obama decisively in Nov.

I’m completely disenchanted with the whole election process. My state votes in May...enough said. :-(

You have to seriously consider ancestral DNA fracture when parents name their son Reince Priebus. How did this guy ever survive grammar school alive? As to the nominee I’m sure it’s the exact loser the RINO elites have selected for us. If it’s Mittens, I am staying home. But wait for it,...I anticipate a young Conservative VP selection by Mittens ala McLame! What a disaster!

If this process is healthy than I’m calling my doctor! By the way, in this healthy process you describe ANY leftist can register AT the TA caucus that day and vote for any extreme loser they want,. then slink back to the DemonRat Slave Plantation! Same for NH, and almost every other state. Nice worthless process to choose your nominee. Absolute insanity!

....in response to a question, that he thought Newt Gingrich was qualified for the presidency. “Of course I think he’s fit to be president. Obviously, we have a president in the White House that, before he took office, two years earlier, was a state senator from Illinois. How has that served our country?” he said.

Good for him. I get so pissed when people say things like: "Sarah Palin is not qualified to be President". Any Republican who has ever even been thought of as a potential candidate is more qualified than the meat-head we have in there now.

Exactly. you can tell this puke is a product of arrogant statist elites.

This girly man probably has never had dirt under his fingernails. I loathe the RNC more than the DNC. At least the liberals are honest in their advocacy of elites ruling over us with an iron fist.

After hearing a replay radio Hannity program yesterday where Priebus was a guest, it was clear by what he said and did not say that he a Romney enabler. While I agree with him that the negative campaigning between our candidates does NOT give democrats any fodder they could not access on their own, his commentary pointed to Romney by default.

Everywhere seems to be about Romney by default. So, what are we going to do about it? Are we going to coalesce or not?

Remember when they were getting rid of Michael Steele and all the potential GOP Party Headquarters apparatchik’s were vying for his job?

Does anyone else remember how they all swooned over the TEA party an dhow we they were all grateful at how the TEA party help in the 2010 elections and how THEY were the real TEA party guy to run the GOP?

Does everyone here remember all that?

Because they sure don't.

“Quite frankly, I think the third-party candidates will take more votes away from Barack Obama than from our candidates.”

I found the above statement, made by the RNC Chairman, to be very intriguing. Does anyone agree with that statement; yes or no? Why?

Well its states rights. Every state makes its own election rules for each party. Its always been that way. The only reason everyone is all wee wee’d up about it this year is because the Democrats are not going through their own primay contortions. All the spotlight is on the Republicans. Once Iowa is over things will progress pretty quickly.

Texas is currently scheduled for Super Tuesday, also the 175th anniversary of The Alamo.

Memo to RNC: we remember.

You give us flip-floppin' Mitt, and you may just kiss the House bye-bye to boot.

What the yay-hoos at the RNC really forget is that McCain would have lost in Mondalean fashion had Sarah not been on the ticket.

To beat back Obama and his $1 billion war chest, the base will have to respond like it's never been asked to.

If the RNC's game plan is to seek the moderate/independent vote while assuming the base (read Tea Party) will come around, they are sadly mistaken.

The RNC has been shamefully AWOL in drawing attention to all of Bari's scandals as well as other corrupt Democrats!

I rarely see or hear from this guy.
