I agree, Belling is no holiday treat but the open primaries are a travesty for the GOP. IMO the party establishment doesn’t want them stopped because the crossover and independent voters are what give the establishment candidates primary majorities.
We’ve got so much work to do!
I refuse to listen to 30 seconds of his whining and pandering.
I just might go to Rush's website and send him an email - again informing him that I will not countenance Belling.
I was simply floored when Steyn mentioned last week that Belling would be on for TWO days - UGH.
Am I hearing right? Mark said he thinks Mitt is a good choice?
I think he is playing devils advocte, and I think he is looking at some of the things we ourselves are upset with.
So now he asks, why cant Romney close the deal?
To mu mind the question is why is Romneys support/numbers so unwaivering?
It’s a valid question, the answer is that he sucks, and a lot of the electorate suck.

Everyone likes Walter Williams - he does a great Rush show - the problem is, it’s the same show every time he hosts.
The same analogies. The same interview with Thomas Sowell. The same Mrs. Williams jokes (until she passed). Its great, but it’s always the same great.
That, and his age, are why he only hosts one day at a time.

He is also tooting the Ron Paul emergence.

Why even bother with the IA or NH, these are tiny states, allow cross-over and even non-residents to come in and drop a dime into the RNC coffers and "vote!"
Again, I'm forced to tell RNC "no more money" as they no longer represent my values. They shield RINOs, give them money that most of us intend to go to genuine conservatives and push characters such as RINO Romney (Bush family supports the guy so that should tell us all enough about the Bush's that we ever needed to know, if we didn't already know it.)
As the old saying goes, "you are known by the friends you keep," I'm paying very close attention to the Romney backers.
As to Paul, he is a Libertarian and should be running as one not GOP. His supporters would walk across broken glass to vote for him. Many are anti-military, pro-legalization of drug use, anti-life and racists to boot! What a bunch of idiots.

He's not the greatest radio guy but boy does he know his business and doesn't cater to the nuts/RINOs who want to fill up air time.
I think Belling is trying to get folks to understand that Romney needs a torpedo.
What is odd about that is Sykes is a big GOP Establishment guy in Wisconsin. Sykes loves the state GOP and the state GOP loves him. Belling usually prides himself as being an outsider to the GOP.
Both Sykes and Belling have been hammering on Newt for a month. Sykes dismisses Paul as a nut out of hand. Belling admits his attraction to many of Paul's positions, but thinks Paul is a nut.
Anytime they go on their anti-Newt and pro-Romney rants, I switch to - shudder - sports talk.
I don't think Sykes or Belling realize how much they turn off their audiences with thie love for Mittens.
