Sen. Chuck Schumer’s (D-N.Y.) brother-in-law was quietly nominated by President Barack Obama to a federal judgeship in New Jersey, even though the state’s senior senator, Frank Lautenberg, was leaning toward other candidates, according to a report Monday.

Kevin McNulty, who is married to Schumer’s sister, was nominated for the $174,000-a-year lifetime post in the U.S. District Court on Dec. 16, according to the New York Post.

This is not politics as usual, it is taking corruption to a higher level, a formal adoption of Rod Blagojevich’s - former Governor of Illinois - selling the Obama senate seat. The Democrats are the most arrogant in their corruption, but the Republicans are not far behind.

We conservative voters who wish for a return to our former constitutional republic must stand up for and find candidates who will act to make a better USA return and also hold these politicians to honest and open government. Government in the USA has always had some minor corruption, but this present level makes our votes and hopes a bad joke.
