Leaders of three troops of Girl Scouts quit their posts and disbanded the troops after the organization’s Colorado chapter said it would allow a transgendered 7-year-old to join.
The troop leaders, all affiliated with a Christian school in Louisiana, resigned in protest of the Colorado chapter’s decision to allow participation from any child who identifies as a girl, The Christian Post reported.
Controversy erupted when Felisha Archuleta tried to enroll her son, Bobby Montoya, who identifies as a girl, in a Girl Scouts troop in Denver.
When a local troop leader refused, saying Bobby wasn’t allowed to join because he had “boy parts,” Archuleta appealed to the leadership of the Colorado chapter, the mother previously told the Daily News.
The organization reviewed the troop leader’s decision and opted to enforce its policy of inclusion for transgendered children, The Christian Post reported.
“If a child identifies as a girl and the child’s family presents her as a girl, Girl Scouts of Colorado welcomes her as a Girl Scout,” the chapter said in a statement.

I think that’s the point. Liberals love to destroy organizations(the scouts, the military, the family, the church) that they perceive stand in the way of global collectivism and absolute dependence on the state.

I think I see part of the problem.
I would think it would be rather dangerous to be walking around right now if I were someone who thought to have a Girl Scout policy accepting of transgendered children, and it might be twice as dangerous for a parent who tried to have that policy enforced.

I think the parents and leaders did the right thing. Start another group, such as Campfire Girls, Christian Girls Group or such, and continue on your way. The freaks and queers faction hates to be ignored and the Girl Scouts will eventually learn, become defunct or become the Girl, Freaks and Queers Scouts.
Well, given that boys are more “valuable” than boys in some cultures, the ultimate punishment for gender selection is for a parent to choose the male gender prior to birth, only to have the child identify as female and have a sex change!
Felisha Archuleta suffers from severe obvious confusion regarding the distinction between “boy” and “girl” and the Source of that distinction. May God cure her of her severe mental illness. The Colorado “Girl” Scouts choose to embrace that disorder and succumb to such confusion. The reporter, however, unlike many in her profession, does not the boy a “daughter” or a “girl,” thereby endorsing the deranged confusion of the alleged mother.

I was in Camp Fire Girls. A quick perusal of their website suggests that they've gone just as loony as Girl Scouts. And it's "Camp Fire USA" now, so it's no longer a girls' club.

Many church youth groups cater to teen girls, and offer regular “all girl” events. My daughter has been in small group Bible Studies from Jr. - High school which are an outgrowth of a larger co-ed youth group. They have quarterly retreats for girls and guys, and of course separate living arrangements with adult supervision for mission trips and other adventures.
For us this makes more sense. The church is free to teach Biblical gender roles and so there is less weirdness for all.
It breaks my heart though. My boys had a fun in the scouts, as did I in girl scouts when I was young.

The leadership of the girl Scouts in Colorado succumbed to political correctness. Hard to tell which form of the neurosis or insanity is more disgusting.
It’s time that all right thinking Americans abandoned the Girl Scouts. There are other girls groups that don’t push this stuff, and abortion and casual sex, on the girls.
I have no personal experience with them but there are Heritage Girls. Probably others, too.

This boy hasn’t yet gone through puberty. He has no conception of trans-gender issues. He has no conception of sexual desires.
His mother is enabling her son towards a difficult life.
And society and groups such as Girl Scouts are so politically correct that we can’t call a spade a spade anymore. What is a boy? What is a girl? Who are we to judge that this young person with a penis is a boy? What if his mother insists that he is really a girl????
Carried to its logical conclusion, the Girl Scouts shouldn’t be allowed to exist under this type of PC thinking. They only allow females or, as in this case, people who think they should be female to be members. This is a case of sex discrimination. I demand a lawsuit.

There is no such thing as majority rule ... in this country it is now ruled by minorities. One person wipes out a whole great experience for a group of girls. How is is ONE person is more important than the whole troop? “This” is what we’ve become?

Their goal is to atomize the population--turn community into a bad joke and Society into an ant hill, with nothing but worker drones and a couple queens. No intermediate social structures that could enable the masses to form associations of their own and begin to think for themselves.

The child hasn’t had his first erection yet, he hasn’t seen the difference between the sex’s Who know what might attract him when he reach’s puberty? Transgendered at 7 is BS.
I applaud the Scout Leaders for not allowing this crap under their watch and I say to the Girl Scouts, there are limits to what you can order a Volunteer to do. The volunteer might just tell you to go crap in your hat.
