Voter fraud is real: And voter ID laws are really needed; they are not racist
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette ^ | 12-18-11 | Jack Kelly

The state chairman of Indiana's Democratic Party resigned Monday as a probe of election fraud in the 2008 Democratic presidential primary widened.

State law requires a presidential candidate to gather 500 valid signatures in each county to qualify for the ballot. Barack Obama may not have met it. Investigators think 150 of the 534 signatures the Obama campaign turned in for St. Joseph County may have been forged.

Former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis, who is black, said vote fraud is rampant in African-American districts like his in Alabama.

"The most aggressive contemporary voter suppression in the African-American community is the wholesale manufacture of ballots at the polls and absentee, in parts of the Black Belt," Mr. Davis said. "Voting the names of the dead, and the nonexistent, and the too mentally impaired to function cancels out the votes of citizens who are exercising their rights."

"Concerns about voter identification laws affecting turnout are much ado about nothing," concluded researchers at the universities of Delaware and Nebraska after examining election data from 2000 through 2006.

This year there have been investigations, indictments or convictions for vote fraud in California, Texas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina and Maryland. In all but one case, the alleged fraudsters were Democrats.

Fraud of the magnitude which swings elections typically combines absentee ballot fraud and voter registration fraud. At least 55 employees or associates of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now have been convicted of registration fraud in 11 states, says Matthew Vadum of the Capital Research Center, who's written a book about ACORN.

Of 1.3 million new registrations ACORN turned in in 2008, election officials rejected 400,000.

If the intent was to really eliminate as much voter fraud as possible, this country would take a year or two and re-register every single voter, requiring proof of citizenship and approved voter ID, among other things.

That would be the best way to purge the voter roles of the dead and the otherwise ineligible.

And as far as re-registration goes, it’s not at all unreasonable. We have to renew our auto tags, our driver’s licenses, our insurance policies and other necessary things. And part of those renewals is to reestablish eligibility, or fitness to have those privileges and insurance coverages.

Voters should have to re-register ever five to ten years just to keep the voter roles cleaner.

“We live in a sound-bite society and one in which propaganda is effective and ubiquitous.”

I see where their dishonesty can only be countered by being brutally honest or un-PC. I have no problem with that and I’ll make sure to engage in it as often as I possibly can.

Absentee ballots must be addressed if we are to slow voter fraud down. My idea is to make each registered voter who wants to have an absentee ballot put his fingerprints on record at the registrars office and then the envelope that the ballot is mailed back in must have a set of fingerprints, which will be checked before the ballot is counted.

Also, laws should be passed disallowing ballots to suddenly be found. If they were not counted in the first count they shouldn't be used in the recount. We all know the "found" ballots are fake. Laws that void a precincts votes when the votes total higher than the number of registered voters would be another good idea. I am sure there are many other ways to cheat but these would be a good start along with requiring Voter ID in all states.

Every one should have a voter ID card like a credit card and a national database of registered voters. System just
accurate as credit card purchases. You insert the card into machine and get one ballot to mark and drop in ballot box. Modern technology makes possible 100% accuracy. Outlaw absentee voting. Polls open for 72hours. Outlaw counting ballots until polls are closed to prevent news media from trying to influence vote before polls close. Outlaw exit polling. Make vote fraud impossible. Registration and issuance of voter ID card must be completed 30 days before election Democracy presupposes honest elections.

You guys are pikers. Oregon has mail in ballots only, no chance of fraud here.

The Republicans that show any interest in curtailing fraud are able to hide behind Courts that tell them how discriminatory voter IDs are.

There are only two possible explainations, the republicans are too stupid to recognize the problem, or they are content to manage their minority position.

Personally I find it hard to believe that they could possibly be that stupid.

Look at the crap the black “teachers” pulled here in Atlanta
They had test changing parties!

There is something seriously wrong with the “black community”. This fraud ultimately hurts them as much as everyone else.

In Minnesota a bill with your address is all you need. or.. get this.. Someone that lives near you can “vouch” for you.

Same for Wisconsin until this year. That is why they are trying to throw the new rules out and see above) using the whining, unionista TEACHERS and their staged sit-ins to help them.

If you really want to see a Democrat Representitive, spokesperson or talking head totally twist off and absolutely freak out just bring up the subject of Vote Fraud. They will explode like an H-Bomb.

Did anyone watch Fox News last week when the topic was the requirement of a valid picture ID to vote was discussed. Immediately, out of the blue, it was bare knuckles cage match out of hell. She whaled and whaled about class warfare, class warfare, discrimination, civil rights violations even genocide came up at some point. This woman was hyperventilating. She was frothing at the mouth like a rabid mental patient. I'm certain the network pulled the plug, because the station quickly cut away to a PSA. After the station break they had changed the subject, but the host still seemed pretty rattled and finding it hard to read the teleprompter.

If you ever are in any position to debate or contend with a dem at any level bring up the idea of the picture ID to vote. Stand back and watch the show. They will melt down like the Wicked Witch of the West when doused in water.
