Voter fraud is real: And voter ID laws are really needed; they are not racist
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette ^ | 12-18-11 | Jack Kelly

The state chairman of Indiana's Democratic Party resigned Monday as a probe of election fraud in the 2008 Democratic presidential primary widened.

State law requires a presidential candidate to gather 500 valid signatures in each county to qualify for the ballot. Barack Obama may not have met it. Investigators think 150 of the 534 signatures the Obama campaign turned in for St. Joseph County may have been forged.

Former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis, who is black, said vote fraud is rampant in African-American districts like his in Alabama.

"The most aggressive contemporary voter suppression in the African-American community is the wholesale manufacture of ballots at the polls and absentee, in parts of the Black Belt," Mr. Davis said. "Voting the names of the dead, and the nonexistent, and the too mentally impaired to function cancels out the votes of citizens who are exercising their rights."

"Concerns about voter identification laws affecting turnout are much ado about nothing," concluded researchers at the universities of Delaware and Nebraska after examining election data from 2000 through 2006.

This year there have been investigations, indictments or convictions for vote fraud in California, Texas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina and Maryland. In all but one case, the alleged fraudsters were Democrats.

Fraud of the magnitude which swings elections typically combines absentee ballot fraud and voter registration fraud. At least 55 employees or associates of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now have been convicted of registration fraud in 11 states, says Matthew Vadum of the Capital Research Center, who's written a book about ACORN.

Of 1.3 million new registrations ACORN turned in in 2008, election officials rejected 400,000.

If voter fraud wasn’t real, Holder and his people wouldn’t be working so hard trying to keep the Republicans from stopping it.

You know what would be real nice...if we could resolve issues like this once in for all.
Instead, 10 years from now I am certain I will be reading a simular article.
I will get Newt on it right away.

Hey, the libs tell me that voter fraud is as rare as Harry Reid's millionaire job creators. They're unicorns, they don't exist.

Good enough for me.

Actually, this issue ticks me off like almost no other, because it points out the cowardice, stupidity, spinelessness of elected Republicans. Here in Michigan, the GOP has lost US Senate + Congressional seats, they've lost who knows how many other elections due to fraud.

Yet, they do nothing. They refuse to defend their OWN political interests. How pitiful can you get? It can't get more pitiful than refusing to defend yourself. See Dubya for a master of this kind of pusillanimity.

If a politician refuses to defend himself, he ain't gonna defend me. So, why is heck should I vote for such a spineless blob? It's insanity.

Gotta concentrate on those Secretary of state elections.

We elected a top notch election fraud fighter here in Michigan. In 04 as a county commissioner she raised the alarm over some 30,000 fraudulent voter registrations in her county. In 2010 she fought the fraud against herself and won the SOS race.

Vote fraud should be treated as the treasonous act it is, a direct attack on the foundations of this formerly great nation. It should be punished accordingly with life in prison or death.

That MIGHT curb some of it...

Anyone claiming photo ID for voting is "racist" or "discriminates against minorities" has to declare that all air travel (or other forms of public transportation, for that matter) is "racist" and intends to "prohibit public transportation for minorities."

As most thinking people will admit, this clam is total nonsense and not worth even a conversation.

obama is counting on massive voter fraud along with the black racist vote to stay in office. Oh yeah, the republicans are very prone to snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Voter fraud gave us King Obama and the loss of freedom continues. America may never recover until we get a leader who will force, yes I said force, a safer and just way of voting. Too bad it has to be that way, but with the huge group of Americans that are communists is growing we will never solve the problem.

And, BTW, come to think of it, how do “Motor Voter Law” registrants even GET registered to vote w/o SOME sort of ID?

Do they get registered just because they CLAIM to be here legally???????

What is the 50 different sets of criteria for registration????

I don’t know about the other 47 states, but AL, GA, and FL all require a birth certificate and social security card along with proof of residency.

Using the race card as a means to silence non-minorities and prevent them from defending their rights against disenfranchisement by voter fraud is the height of racism.
