Well said. Gingrich/Rubio sounds good to me. That ensures terms after him and that the latin vote gives us another look..

Newt supported the bailouts, Medicare Part D, the individual mandate, Cap and Trade, the Department of Education and Freddie Mac in no way represents true conservatism.

Plus, he's a major supporter of dad Bush's 'New World Order' which dissolves the sovereignty of the United States of America...

But he is smart and an excellent speaker...

I liken Newt to the fighter pilot Tom Cruise played in the 1980’s movie Top Gun. Best pure fighter pilot on the planet when focused but was sometimes careless and took unnecessary risks, nearly destroying his career.

However, when his country really needed him, he focused intensely and used all of his God given talents to win the crucial dogfight against the Soviet Union.

Newt has flaws but no one has his proven ability to bring powerful, intelligent debate to the attention of the American people. I think he is the GOP’s Top Gun.

"Republicans don’t care any more for the Constitution than the Democrats do."

That about sums up the two party's! George Washington tried to warn us about political party's over 200 years ago and most Americans didn't pay head to his warning. His predictions are all coming true.

—”Tea Party candidates don’t whore themselves out to Fannie Mae.”-—

A very parochial comment. You can change a couple of words in that sentence, replace it with any fault of any Tea Party candidate, and make the same ridiculous statement.

“Tea Party candidates don’t endorse Romneycare!” — There goes Jim Demint
“Tea Party candidates don’t support TARP” — There goes almost everyone.

The Fannie/Freddie thing will be hung around Newt’s neck about as successfully as a water necklace. It’s a weak talking point, and it takes a ridiculous stretch to even get there.

I don’t care who gave advice to whom. Using that as a DQ leaves NOBODY left to run, period.

I’m not thrilled with any of the candidates.

In the beginning I though Newt was to old and had too much baggage. But I’ll give him this. He is a fighter and he is articulate. He has a chance to win. So of out of our choices I’m going to vote for him.

Romney. To me he is Bush III and I am not interested. Pro BIG Government and PRO BIG Business. I want someone who will fight for smaller Government and has policies that are Pro small/medium business and Pro Employee and Professionals.

What that means to me is an economy that has Opportunity for people who are willing to work hard.

Don’t know if we’ll get that with NG, probably not. But we will definitely not get that with Romney.

RE :”Newt is another RINO, I will not vote for him!

RINO??? Does this look like a RINO?
Video : Newt Gingrich and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi - We Can Solve It (Newt : "We agree that we need to demand action from our leaders to combat climate change")

Look how well ethanol worked? Newt has lots more 'ideas' !

It seems that just because there was an article that it was MAYBE leaked that Palin would endorse Gingrich all of her followers went with him. What will they do if Perry or Bachmann is the nominee and Palin endorses them or is asked to be VP or in they’re cabinet? I am shocked reading some of the Palinista’s bashing Bachmann personally; not just calling her a RINO but making fun of her looks and voice.Yet...they parade around this forum telling on PDSer’s like hypocrites.Palin endorsed Perry in the past and said she would be Romney’s VP; yet even a rumor of her endorsement is like a cult following to them. It is sad and embarrassing they fall for Obama Axelrod divide and conquer tricks.Putting all of they’re hope and risking Obama possibly being re elected in what somebody may have said that is not even running.NEWT WAS A RINO TO THEM 6 months ago.

It is not MSM spin when it is reported by Fox that some of Gingrich’s closest friends say he has an ego.Newt won’t stop insider trading.Perry and Bachmann, heck even Santorum- give a far better chance of truly cleaning up DC.Gingrich will bring us the same cycle.Dems rule, pubs rule, dems rule, pubs rule REPEAT AND RINSE AND ACT ALL HORRIFIED THEN REPEAT; AND NOTHING EVER changes!

Who alive has done more for the Conservative movement than Newt Gingrich? Answer that question.

Oh, man. There goes a perfectly good keyboard. LOL. Thankfully, I have a full pot of coffee.

One thing I’ve wondered about is that if Gingrich manages to get the nomination, will the GOP establishment ‘really’ support him, or will they be joining up with the lefty media and be constantly undermining him and backstabbing him behind-the-scenes, like was done constantly to Palin? I truly believe it would be the latter.

—— Of course they won’t support him. (p.s., they didn’t support Reagan all that much either). Dammm the torpedoes. I’m voting for him.

Did he actually VOTE for any of them? His voting record in the House is almost 100% conservative.

You are dead wrong about Cap & Trade. He actually testified before congress AGAINST it... quite effectivly, I might add.

Freddie went sour when the Dems started messing around with what was at one time, a pretty successful program.

Ever accept an FHA or VA loan. You liberal, you accepted government assistance.
