ATF officials didn’t intend to publicly disclose their own role in letting Mexican cartels obtain the weapons, but emails show they discussed using the sales, including sales encouraged by ATF, to justify a new gun regulation called “Demand Letter 3″. That would require some U.S. gun shops to report the sale of multiple rifles or “long guns.” Demand Letter 3 was so named because it would be the third ATF program demanding gun dealers report tracing information.

While AG Holder’s, (and the Obama Administration et al), contempt for our laws - except when they can advantageously manipulate them - has been well-documented, its largely been a fantasy to those getting their “news” from the lamestream media. Perhaps the next round of hearings will force the “majors” to taking at least cursory notice. >PS
I have a friend who is a FFL gun dealer. He says he knows several people who are being investigated by the ATF right now over stupid little stuff.
It is our theory that teh ATF is tightening the screws to make it harder on all the little guys out there so the ATF can have more control. When there are only 1 or 2 gun dealers left it will be easy to see who is doing and buying what.
And somebody’s been buying the gun makers too.
On another thread this morning I read a comment that Sharyl Attkisson must have been silenced because of nothing new from her in a month.
I would expect that, at the conclusion of the hearing, holder will be taken into custody and read his rights.
if this was not obama the MSM would be screaming for blood.
What are the odds of that happening?

But will there ever be any indictments, arrests and convictions? Holder may ultimately get the boot but his minions, perpetrators and co-conspirators will get off scott free thanks largely to the protection afforded to them by the liberal media.
