Her stupidity, if that was all it was, is now coming home to roost. When she begins to get a clue that he really did do all this stuff, imagine what she will feel like then.
I can see how a woman might miss some things happening. I can’t see how Dottie thinks that it’s okay that her husband showered with these boys. His words. He spoke them. And yet she dares to say that they’re making all this up?
I’m telling you, there’s a woman’s instinct. Maybe mine came after I birthed my first child, I’m not sure, but I know when my intuition kicks in. It’s that gut feeling that something just isn’t right, and I can’t shake it no matter how much I try to persuade myself otherwise.
I really believe that Dottie knew something, and it was more convenient to disregard her gut. She is really in for something when she finally starts to admit that she looked the other way all this time. It will be devastating for her.
