I am unaware of any Republican candidate who would not agree that we should look at our military comittments in Europe. Perhaps I sould have asked you to stick to positions where Paul departs from his competitors. Two good places to start are Israel and Iran.

When I hear Mr. Paul talk, my opinion is that he is being cagey about his positions and would actually persue a strick isolationist policy. The last time we tried that, 100,000,000 people died. Like it or not, we ARE the world's policeman.

I'm curious what you find disagreeable.

I do not know about Jeff Chandler, but I feel his blame America first policy disagreeable. I feel his appeasement policies to our enemies disagreeable. I find his collecting as many earmarks as possible, while saying he is against them disagreeable. I find his demanding that an under age girl be allowed to cross state lines to get an abortion when it is illegal in the state she lives disagreeable. I feel his endorsement of OWS disagreeable. I find his blaming America for 9/11 disagreeable. The surrender monkey is just all around disagreeable.

“I guess a lot depends on where you make the pullouts. Seems we could pull a fair amount of troops out of Europe and possibly Japan if we gave them enough notice of our intent so they could build up their own forces. I’m less enthusiastic about Korea, but maybe it’s time they shouldered their own defense too - we could fall back to an alliance situation I suppose.”

Pullouts and cuts are two different matters. The cuts he has proposed in defense spending (regardless whether we pull out of anywhere) are dramatic and would greatly reduce our armed forces capabilities. Crazy to do that imo.

Does it bother anybody else that Ron Paul is 76 years old?

Some people become senile even before 76.
