CHOICE A: Elect Obama, get continued "administrative amnesty" for between 300,000 and 1.1 million illegals - all done via non-compliance with Federal law.

CHOICE B: Elect Gingrich and get the largest amnesty in history - for a minimum of 3.5 million illegals - larger than 1986, and via a LAW that he SIGNS.

Sorry...but I want another choice.

(Now let's see the NewtBots try and bash Roy Beck of NumbersUSA, who has been battling illegal immigration since Newt was an Alvin Toffler world-government Progressive)

We have immigration laws that must be enforced.

We have gun laws and immigration laws whicth were both written by Teddy Kennedy. I reject that either should be enforced and both should be repealed.

Anything less than requiring people who are working here illegally to return home to apply for a worker visa is amnesty.

It should also be mentioned that advocates of amnesty should not be taken seriously if they claim to be also in favor of tougher border control. It is simply not credible that advocates of amnesty will be reliably tough on controlling the borders.

A lot of people on this website use the black vote are their model for predicting what is "inevitable" for Hispanics. I say that there is not a strong correlation for the two, because there are major differences between the two cultures. I would also point out a very significant statistic from Pew Research: Percenage of Conservatives opposed to abortion -72%, percentage of Hispanics opposed to abortion -83%.

The hispanic community is a lot more diverse than they ususally get credit for on this website. Not all of them are part of a drug cartel, and not all of them are members of la Raza. My point is not that we should ever expect even a majority from a group that tends to be of low income. OTOH, we can pretty much guarantee losing all of them by taking an excessively hard-line stand that won't work anyway.

You want to repeal our immigration laws? In a constitutional republic the people decide what laws they want.

I don’t want illegal aliens here basically for the following reasons:

1. They come here to steal us blind-— they ride the US gravy train with multiple identities which they buy for several thousand dollars each.

Vote-crazed candidates do not directly address this outrage—— probably b/c migrants/illegals vote several times each, using forged and faked ID’s.

2. They pocket all the US benefits they can get, and want to force their culture on the rest of us. NO candidate EVER questions their loyalties........and the threat this poses to US national security.

Do they really care about this country? Do they even understand this country beyond what they can GET from it. Read on.

DID GOV.PERRY MAKE A DEAL WITH LA RAZA to place Raza studies (Mexican-American studies) in Texas schools?
Raza studies have been taught in Arizona for a decade...... then they passed a law against it.... but it still goes on.

RAZA STUDIES One of the textbooks used is titled “Occupied America,” which was written by Rodolfo Acuña and includes a speech given by activist and university professor Jose Angel Gutierrez in which he says: “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him,” (pg. 323). The book also talks about the need for Mexico to retaken seven states in the Southwestern United States.

“...eliminate the gringo...” That means genocide, you know.

The following rather shocking quotes are taken directly from Occupied America (pg. 167):

“Supporters would execute all White Males over age 16,” (also known as the Plan of San Diego).

“The Southwest would become a Chicano nation.”
In addition to using taxpayer funds to enforce such polarizing beliefs in Latino children in traditional public schools, the organization known as La Raza operates 100 charter schools across the country.

The following is a select list of La Raza charter schools:
-La Academia Semillas del Pueblo (Los Angeles)
-Atzlan Academy (Tucson, AZ)
-Mexicayotl Academy (Nogales, AZ)
-The Dolores Huerta Prepatory High School (Pueblo, CO)
-Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School (St. Paul, MN)

In 2005 alone, $7.9 million in taxpayer funding was given out to these charter schools in the form of U.S. Department of Education grants. These schools stress Latino culture, the Spanish language, the reconquest of the American Southwest, the establishment of the mythical Atzlan, and even Aztec math.

You can call me ignorant or even a knuckle-dragger, but I’m not stupid. Stupid people invite the craven into their homes and lives, only to be murdered.

Anyone who comes here legally to become a part of the United States, I welcome with open arms. To those who want to kill us, I will return the favor.

So, do you still want to repeal our immigration laws?

“Tantaros neglects to mention that none of the other candidates actually HAS a comprehensive immigration plan.”

Comprehensive Plan?

What's wrong with the existing laws?

Oh, I forgot.

We don't enforce them.

And for those who have forgotten something else...

80% of new immigrant citizens vote for the Democratic Party.

If new citizens voted 80% for Conservatives, do you think the Progressive Left would support Comprehensive Reform?

This country has become the greatest in the world thanks to immigrants who left their nations in search of America’s promise.

CORRECTION. This country has become the greatest in the world thanks to LEGAL immigrants who left their nations in search of America’s promise.

Your "source" is a partisan interpretation of independant research, which idicates only that as many as 35% of illegals have been in this country for 15 years or more and extrapolates that figure to to the Gingrich plan. In doing so, it ignores all of the qualifications that Gingrich listed, primarily the fact that he specifically referred to persons who had been here 25 years or more not 15 years. Furthmore, the Gingrich plan would disqualify all those with a criminal record, or who recieved entitlements, or had not been paying taxes, or who did not have medical insurance.

LEGAL Immigration is a great thing. We want the Chinese scientists, the patent creators, the Andrew Carnegies and the Greek diner owners ...”

But that ain't what we're getting....we're getting the dregs of Mexican society, instead.

Only because we have made it such an easy sell for them.

"Vote Democrat. The Republicans hate you."

There is no "Gingrich plan". It is a phantom, a mirage. Newt has changed his stated position at least 6 times, and now points to the Krieble Foundation, which takes as its central premise that there are millions of jobs that Americans "simply wont do" - the La Raza and DNC position, which is a total lie. I am not saying Mittens or Perry are any better, but don't be naive about a "plan". Newt would support a "humane" amnesty in the end.

“Percentage of Conservatives opposed to abortion -72%, percentage of Hispanics opposed to abortion -83%.”

Here's another statistic from Pew...

For the last 5 elections Hispanics have voted 65%-75% for the Democratic Party.

They oppose abortion, but vote for the Abortion Party.

Does that make sense to you?

Another thing...

Factor out Cubans.

Factor out second and third generation Hispanics.

New Hispanic citizens vote 80% for the Democratic Party!

From the website you provided":

"We do agree with Gingrich and with the Pew Center that Gingrich is not suggesting a blanket amnesty like Bush and Obama."

Your position seems to have shifted from posting mistatements about the Gingrich plan to having a better understanding of the plan itself, but concluding that the man is lying.

I have no interest in having that debate with you or anyone else. That is up to each individual to decide for himself. As a matter of fact, I'm not at all interested in who you personally decide to vote for. My goal on all of these threads it to clear up misconceptions so that people can decide for themselves using the facts. I'd say my work is done here.

Who ARE you supporting, BTW?

I don’t really care where immigrants originate; I care that they are willing to come here legally and become citizens.

Those who are scofflaws and jingoists can stay out - and we should forcibly remove those who are here now.

Eisenhower deported over a million illegal aliens back in the 1950s and many, many more self-deported. There is a reason the 1950s were a decade of prosperity and employment. Too bad we haven’t learned that lesson in over a half-century.

Tell me something: If the abortion debate has been hopelessly deadlocked for 40 years, but one party seems to be in favor of rounding up and deporting your relatives as soon as possible, and the other does not, who would you vote for? Hispanics are issues voters, just like everybody else. Personally, I would vote for an honestly pro-life Democrat over a pro-choice Republican.

My point is that inroads into the Hispanic vote may not be as hopless as the msm is happy to have us believe.

Not sure when the those liberal genuises at the Onion thought of the "Zombie Reagan" gag, but I was posting the same joke here while we were going through similiar primary nonsense four years ago.

N.B. - Zombie Reagan still gets pissed when you violate his 11th Commandment.

“Vote Democrat. The Republicans hate you.”

Here’s another Pew statistic for you...

For at least 10 years 45%-55% of Hispanic citizens have favored strict enforcement of current immigration law.

Does that make sense to you?

Bottom line...

A very large majority of Hispanics want European Socialism.

That is their Number One political issue.

Not abortion.

Not immigration.

Your idea that we can convert them to Conservatives is a catastrophic political fantasy.
