lol! So you cannot name one lie. Why an I not surprised? SO that makes you the liar.

By his own definition, Newt is for amnesty. You may not like that, you may deny it. But your denials won't change the fact that by his own definition Newt Gingrich is for amnesty.

Refute that.

The quote you are providing, "Anything less than requiring people who are working here illegally to return home to apply for a worker visa is amnesty," is from "ENDING THE DISHONESTY: THE WAY FORWARD ON BORDER CONTROL AND PATRIOTIC IMMIGRATION," a 25 page paper he released in 2006. It was published in opposition to the DREAM Act. His current plan allows the small percentage of illegals who pay taxes, receive no entitlements, can pay for health care, have no criminal record, and ties to the community to gain legal status, but not citizenship, after paying a $5000 penalty. You know all this, because you and I have been over this literally dozens of times. Personally, I look at his current position as a stronger and more realistic solution to the problem. Again, it is simply naive to think that people who have been here 25 or more years and who have children and grandchildren who are citizens here are suddenly going to leave by any means short of actively rounding them up. So, no, I don't think he is lying. I think that like a lot subjects, he has given this one the thought it deserves, and he has come up with the most realistic solution.
