I’m all for ENFORCING the current laws. I’m also for CLOSING the border. Are you? I’m for building a fence and whatever other measures we need to take. Heck, mobilize the National Guard, increase the Border Patrol, etc. Are you? Oh, wait, those are Newt’s ideas. They must be bad ideas...for some reason.

I believe you said that if Cain did not win the nomination, which he won't, you were going to write in Sarah Palin. Gingrich and I agree that SOME illegals will leave when we enforce the laws. That's why he plans to do so. But, again, this was not my point.

After we seal the borders and enforce the laws, perhaps as many as 10mm illegals will still chose to remain in the country outside the laws. Gingrich is the only candidate with a plan to address this. Actually, Gingrich is the only candidate who even HAS a comprehensive immigration plan.
Anything less than requiring people who are working here illegally to return home to apply for a worker visa is amnesty.

By his own definition, Newt is for amnesty. You may not like that, you may deny it. But your denials won't change the fact that by his own definition Newt Gingrich is for amnesty.
