I’ve never understood why liberals bend over backwards to accomodate Islam, but fight anything done to accomodate Christianity. In the latter case, we are told that we have to have separation of church and state. In the former case, I guess we’re supposed to be liberal and multi-cultural, and show how tolerant we are???

Lots of our colleges were founded by Christian churches. Hillsdale college was founded by the Freewill Baptists but has long since been disassociated with the school.
The Freewill Baptists moved on and started one of the colleges in Oklahoma I believe.
BU is associated with the United Methodist church. I believe you may be thinking of Boston College, which is a Jesuit university.
Boston College is the Jesuit school. Boston University is loosely affiliated with the United Methodists.

The "what next" that we should really worry about is what happens when these characters achieve a political plurality in this nation. If anyone believes that the Constitution is under attack of late, just wait until another fifty years passes. In less than those fifty years this bunch of unwashed and uncivilized cretins will have achieved that plurality and completely rearranged the order of things in this country. BU is a private university. If you don’t like the policy then don’t go there, and if you already went there, then don’t donate money during the alumni giving campaign.
From a purely economic standpoint, this makes a lot of sense. Many private colleges and even prep schools rely upon foreign students for money because many of them pay full tuition and do not receive any financial aid. In addition, the wealthy parents of these foreign students often make additional contributions above and beyond tuition. (I have seen this first hand at both the prep school and college level.) So, if putting in a foot bath attracts a few wealthy Muzzies to the campus, then so be it becuse this is not so much about political correctness than it is about taking their money.
