LOL! Let ‘em continue to plan for the previous war. The Greenies are trying to hit a moving target. Halliburton can now offer customers the option of using UV light instead of biocide and now 100% of their frac fluid comes from the food and beverage industry.

Sounds like the EPA only needs to have these posted in the Boss's trailer.

Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) provide vital information about chemicals and products used in this facility and are required to be available per OSHA regulation CFR 29 Chapter 1910.1200. MSDSs tell us the chemical make-up of product, its safety and health hazards and what to do in an emergency.

This is an obvious tactic to harass the drillers. Where I work, The Safety, Health and Environment manager has MSDS data sheets for every substance we use to manufacture items.

A promising new technology to extract oil from shale? We can reduce our dependence on foreign energy sources, lower the cost of energy for ordinary Americans and add thousands of jobs? Time for the EPA to spring into action and crush this incredibly beneficial innovation under a landslide of regulations prior to the inevitable ban.

Worthless, tyrannical, parasitic bureaucracies like the EPA are precisely why the Soviet Union collapsed, why nations like China and India squandered decades and millions of lives in abject poverty. After two centuries of spectacular growth and technological innovation unparalleled in the history of man, the US is now crippled by government bureaucracies. Big, ambitious projects in the private sector are smothered in the crib as soon as investors consider the cost of FDA/EPA/DOT/FAA/etc. regulations. And even the government can't afford to undertake the next moon shot, the next Hoover dam because it's own bureaucracies make the costs intolerable.

The only people who should be glad about this are the politicians, NGOs and other parasites who exist to exert more and more control over the rest of us. Bad government and the political class are the biggest problem the people of the world face.
