The vast majority of Americans are outraged at the recent accusations of child rape by a former member of the football coaching staff at Penn State University and the seeming cover-up by the university’s president and legendary head football coach. At the same time, a small, radical organization, B4U-ACT, is lobbying under the radar to convince the American Psychiatric Association (APA) - publisher of the bible for identifying abnormal behaviors, the Diagnostic&StatisticalManualofMental Disorders (DSM) -to declare that pedophilia should not be included in the list of abnormal behaviors.
Members of the APA need to listen to the public outcry and disregard members of B4U-ACT. Raping a child, sexually exploiting a child, destroying a child’s innocence, and psychologically and physically damaging a child are abhorrent crimes. Media coverage has downplayed the physical trauma abused children often suffer from sexual assaults. Contrary to the views of some on the radical fringe, the criminal is not the victim; nor is that person to be protected and the crime covered up while the abused and sexually exploited children are left to suffer the consequences and later, endure the years of psychological rehabilitation that is required before they can be restored to normality.

Why was Jim Robinson forced to delete the recent thread about the naughty teacher threads on aggregate?
I submit it could not be allowed to stand without damaging the image of the site.
People on those threads do not simply make off color jokes - they often attack posters who take adult teachers using students for sex as a serious matter. Is that lashing out not condoning? If not, then what is it exactly?
As a societal issue, this is coming ever more to the front of the stage. Taking no position...becomes taking a position.
The fence is too high and too long to straddle.
There is a passage in the Bible about people who harm children, or likewise cause others to lose their faith...and a millstone. And the depths of the sea. This passage is important enough to be included in more than one Gospel.
The principal matters.
I am not always well spoken.
I do make knee jerk reactions from time to time.
But this is important. It is not a sideshow. And I submit my reaction is far milder than what the words of scripture should inspire me to.

I know on here you have a few libertarians who think morality and politics can be isolated from each other...and others, who with the culture, have drifted into accepting homosexuality...but that's not the mainstream here in FR, and that's certainly not J. Robinson.
Actually it is highlighting a serious societal criminal activity that has infected all aspects of American society.
From Education at all levels to Religion. It is a cancer that is destroying our young.

Not in any way. As mentioned in post ten, posters in the pedophile teacher threads who take the matter seriously are often attacked for not treating the matter as a joke, and the moderators stand by the attacks. Certainly the posts are not deleated.

Growing up, I never saw child abuse like seems to be so commonplace today. My wife and I taught at an Indian Village once that had more than it's share of abusers. The village girls were having babies at age 12, and most the younger boys had been raped/abused by their uncles. It was happening to these boys when they were like 8-9-10 years old. It really shocked me. Once I ran this older guy out of the school when they came down to get his nephew at 3 in afternoon. The boy took bus home. Nx day the boy came to school all shook up, his uncle stayed at his house. Within an hour the kid had went into the bathroom and wiped poop all over the walls; man, I never seen anything like that anywhere in my life. I jumped some of the village members that I knew to be respectable and told them if that uncle wasn't gone that day, the state cops would be here and I told him he needed to be shot and fed to the bear. That uncle was gone within 2 hours. Ya know, these abused kids grow up and repeat it to their nephews and these sick perverts want it called normal. Let me be the executioner, I'll gladly fill the role, man this is sick.
Something else, I talked to the Indians about why it was so prevalent in their village. Truth be told, back in the 40's & 50's, the Fed Govt took all their kids off the Indians and sent them to BLM schools to Americanize them. The White Staff at these schools were sicko perverts and they ruined the lives of that generation. All these Uncles in the village I mentioned had been abused as little boys themselves at these Govt Schools; true story. Really, all these perverts need institutionalized or sent off to meet their maker.
