Six months ago, I posted a blog here called, Gunfight at the Credo Corral. In it, I described our Second Amendment right to bear arms as both fundamental and inalienable, meaning that the government is powerless to take that right away from us, and we cant even give it away.
Of course, this has never stood in the way of a determined government. After all, a right possessed by the individual is a power denied to the state. Therefore, we must jealously guard our rights from attack by the very people we hire to protect them -- our politicians.
For example, some U.S. senators view gun control as an excuse to combat terrorism. Its even been suggested that Operation Fast and Furious, which was engineered by our own government, will itself provide an excuse for gun control. Four months ago, the National Rifle Association warned its members that the Obama administration is planning to propose new gun control legislation.
But while our attention has been focused on our own lawmakers, a gang outside our borders is preparing to do battle with our Second Amendment rights. The name of that gang is ...

Great line! Me likey. I'm gonna save that one for future use.
We will not comply.
Just heard a guy on the radio about the nationwide concealed carry thing. He said, basically, that since you don’t have to get a drivers license in every state to drive across country because your license for one state makes you good to go in others, the same should be true for concealed carry.
I just moved to Kentucky. I have to be a resident for six months before I can get a cc permit. I’m basically defenseless for six months.

They can have my bullets.
The problem is, it won’t be “blue helmets” coming to enforce the law,
but it will be expected that law enforcement at all levels enforce this law, including the cop down the street.
America is bound to abide by treaties it signs,
unless folks think we shouldn’t... ?
Correction : “ They can have my (Discharged ) bullets ,... one at a time .”
THere , I fixed it !
I figured that was assumed.

Treaties made under the Constitutional authority given to the FedGov cannot exceed the limits placed on government by the Constitution itself.
Unless you think those treaties should exceed that authority...
"Ok, sure UN, go down that alley to where dead ends and turn into that warehouse, that's where I keep them"
UN walks into warehouse.
NS comes up from behind, knocks down the UN, takes UN wallet, points and laughs then runs off to buy some more guns
Right! They can have the projectiles but the cartridge cases and spent primers stay with me!
I have never seen this poster. Thanks for sharing.
Come and try to take them. See how far ya get.
I don’t, and it’s up to the Senate to verify that any treaties they ratify do not violate the Constitution.
Anyone siding with a foreign power to deny rights protected by our Constitution has declared his treasonous intent. Those who willingly or in ignorance sign on for such duty will need to be reminded that treason comes with a price.
I created it over ten years ago.
No treaty which would negate any aspect of the Constitution should be signed, nor ratified, nor enforced.
I understand all that...
We have the same problem with the “UN Rights of the Child Treaty”...
I decided in the early 90's that the UN coming after my children will terminate "playing nice." When they come for our "nasty toys" that pretty much says what they intend subsequently.
Maybe Europe will fold, but not the small percentage of freedom loving Americans. (3%? -- that will be enough).
Is that a thoughtcrime? Or intent to commit intellectual property infringement? Hmm, two birds in one throw!
I’ve put it this way...
When any entity seeks to remove your ability to resist the use of force against you,
they intend to use force against you.
Oh... Well that makes me feel better. :-|
Ive put it this way...
When any entity seeks to remove your ability to resist the use of force against you,
they intend to use force against you.
A good use of common sense. To bad common sense ain’t very common.
NS should have put a round in UN’s head then take the wallet.Use a supressor also .
Come and get them.
YES! If they demand your firearms, give them to them....but give them all your ammo FIRST! LOL.
Be my guest...LOL
Jes tell ‘em you’re from the OWS-gang....you’ll be fine. :)
Agree....
but only after pointing a laughing
but only after pointing and laughing
The UN wants my gun? Fine, just send a “Blue Hat” over to my house and I’ll let him have it.
Hey Corpse...
They can have mine... Ammo first.
III% - Stand up now, or crawl later.
Hope you’re well, brother.
That artwork is a direct assault on the Constitution of the United States. It is an abomination.
“...they intend to use force against you...”
Which automatically de-legitimizes them, provides an immediate threat vector AND a target, and removes any reason whatsoever why any AMERICAN should entertain any notion of compliance.
F*** ‘em.
“Resist We Much” as Reverend Al Sharpton said...(had to do it...I couldn’t help myself).
We’re Americans, this ain’t Europe, and we will NOT comply.
Molon labe.
“...but it will be expected that law enforcement at all levels enforce this law, including the cop down the street...”
Then you already know where he lives.
The words “Choose this day whom you will serve...” come to mind. If Officer Friendly makes his choice against you, his own people, well...he makes his own bed then.
“...America is bound to abide by treaties it signs,
unless folks think we shouldnt... “
Not when it comes to abrogating my rights as an AMERICAN Citizen. I don’t give a rat’s ass what some Bulgarian or Ghanian puke thinks about my right to own a firearm...nor do I care what Banki Moon, or Kofi Anon or whatever other totally replaceable, completely interchangeable Marxist douchebag du jour is running the show over there thinks.
And any one of OUR politicians who signs us on to ANY treaty that infringes on our rights should be immediately arrested, and publically hanged as a traitor.
We have people that swore an oath to uphold, protect, and defend the US Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic.
This is an example of BOTH types of enemies, right here amongst us.
Pretty much sums it up for me.
Only a constitutional amendment can remove a right.
Just as a law which presumes powers not granted to the government by the Constitution is invalid, so is a treaty that exceeds their authority. They can't give away in your stead something of yours they don't own.
Wrong. Your rights do not exist because someone wrote them on a scrap of parchment.

The government is constantly trying and in some cases succeeding in eroding away our rights.
OC is pre-emption legal in the commonwealth of ky...on the person or in a vehichle, which includes the glove box...
What does that mean, exactly?
