watching these numbers swing up and down, I think at least half the electorate must be on medication
To: DadOfFive
All this while he’s out of country. Not a good sign for him.

Going in the right direction.
As we see a glimpse into how the MSM is going go after the final GOP candidate during the elections.
Obama claims he will raise 1 billion dollars.
The MSM attacks would add maybe 3 Billion Dollars to his war chest.

That kind of volatility is indicative of bad sampling.
To: DadOfFive
Does that tie the lowest?
Or has it been lower?

watching these numbers swing up and down, I think at least half the electorate must be on medication Daily polls are not, repeat NOT, an accurate depiction of reality. They are snapshots of a moment. Like taking a still of a movie. They are meant to be viewed as a whole, over a period of time.
This is not the electorate that is wildly swinging around, it is the nature of daily tracking polls. Watch the trends, watch for consistant indicators, but don't invest yourself in the day to day play.
To: DadOfFive
But it’s 9 points in two days.

My gosh, considering Obummer went from +1 to -12 in just 3 days and Rasmussen is on a rolling average, his numbers for the last couple days must have been truly awful.

which i think shows Ras had a very bad sample 2 to 3 days ago that threw this out of whack. from 50% approval to 44% approval in 2 days.

Bambi's on the outs again with the left because he won't speak out for OWS.
I saw this number coming on DU yesterday. They're getting angry at him again and when that happens his numbers tank.
To: DadOfFive
I never believed the 6% drop to -15%. It is all in the questions and the demographics.
How COULD a sane society give this clown a---oh, never mind. A sane society--where? when?..

IMO, this is folks who for a while were responding to the pollandrums more positively because of media’s attempted lynching of Herman Cain. Now that Herman has escaped the noose, they are re-stabilized.

That same 20% would “strongly approve” even if he was caught with a dead girl or a live boy in his bed.

19% - 20% strongly approve is the bottom...that appears to be the hardcore base...

Once, on 10/25, his SA broke below 19 to 18.
19% appears to be his hardcore base floor.
