Government by committee. This is how an Oligarchy works. I tried to point out to my freshman congressman at a recent townhall the unconstitutional nature of a Supercommittee. He “assured” me it was totally constitutional and that the threshold of $1.5 trillion was so low the committee would have no problem finding those cuts. In addition he also assured me that just because the committee suggested something did not mean the congress would pass it. He boasted about the 85 GOP freshman that would not allow anything untoward to be passed.

I’m going to take a wild guess that he and most of the other 85 freshmen will go right along with Tammy Faye’s instructions to vote for increased taxes. Their argument is that if they don’t go along with this proposal the Bush tax cuts will expire in 2012. What they don’t discuss is that the big money says the Senate will go to a GOP majority in 2012 and with a majority in both houses we can just make the Bush tax cuts permanent.

We all need to take action now and email our congressmen and tell them not to even think about voting for any of this crapola.
