Nick Clegg clashed with the Prime Minister today after criticising plans to claw back powers from the EU. The Deputy Prime Minister said that only 'populists, chauvinists and demagogues' could benefit from a treaty negotiation, even though David Cameron yesterday re-affirmed his intention to repatriate powers. Mr Clegg warned that European politicians should focus on 'jobs and growth' rather than attempting to reform EU institutions.

Clinton propped up the collapsing EU and Bush went along with it.
If we can get in Cain, Bachmann, Santorum, or a dark horse then we might be able to withdraw from the former Yugoslav states.
This removes the US military barrier between Islam and the soft bellied European socialists. The Albanian Muzzies will give it a go.
Europe doesn’t have a Martel now. If they survive it will require nukes, and after its over they ain’t gonna like the folks who lead them down this path.
Even if they are ‘populists, chauvinists and demagogues’, as Clegg puts it, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re wrong. Effectively putting all of Europe under an unelected central dictatorship may not have been a good idea.
So if you look at Greece or Italy and dont like what you see, you’re a chauvinist, populist or a demagogue. What if you’re simply sane?
