Vast, unidentified, structures have been spotted by satellites in the barren Gobi desert, raising questions about what China might be building in a region it uses for its military, space and nuclear programmes.
In two images, available on Google Earth, reflective rectangles up to a mile long can be seen, a tangle of bright white intersecting lines that are clearly visible from space.
Other pictures show enormous concentric circles radiating on the ground, with three jets parked at their centre.
In one picture from 2007, a mass of orange blocks have been carefully arranged in a circle. In a more recent image, however, the blocks, each one the size of a shipping container, appear to have been scattered as far as three miles from the original site.

To any of our good guys out there, I’d look directly above what square one. Way up above that square.
If there’s a geosynchronous satellite there, or one appears above it at some later date, the square is likely somehow related to it.
Just a guess.
If the PRC begins laying in quantities of Cobalt Thorium G, you’ll know...
Yeah, I’m still looking... But I did find a pool that looks to be about 15 miles long by about 5 miles wide. Also found a complex that looks like it was hit with a nuclear blast. Just shells of buildings with no roofs...

You have to be about 20 miles up or less to spot the two I found (see last post).
Thanks, found it. Also the structures (one is light blue) to the ENE of your coordinates are pretty interesting as well. At first I thought they were landing strips but then you can see the rolling terrain within the lines. And when you zoom in on those, just to the east, there is also 3 small bombed out looking structures with deep blueish purple roofs. Also found a large square that appears to be littered with bomb craters...
..war is war.....taking up time trying to figure out foolishness is time distracted from something serious...
Speaking of terrain, many of the sites are cut through with river channels. I have no idea how often it rains there but from the looks of the place not very often. So it seems like these things are pretty old.
And on one of the sites there is a very plain fault where part of the land subsided (or rose up). Sure looks like that happened after the lines were built. Earthquake? Natural or man made?
Maybe the ‘patterns’ are the weapon...
The patterns could be read from orbit by an onboard computer, and their unique shape would provide a 360 degree, optical fix that could be read, like an iPhone reads one of those oddball square bar-codes.
Which incidentally, those shapes appear similar to.
I think you're on to something here... but a few questions... why would it be so large? Could the 'reading' be affected by debris - is that why planes and trucks are in the pattern? Could this be used to reprogram missiles after an EMP attack? If it's an important wartime communication device - why so obvious?
And the second thought? Could lines be 'drawn' from a space based weapon?
