The Blaze ^ | 11/11/11 | Tiffany Gabbay

Posted on 11/12/2011 11:37:28 AM PST by Baynative

Billed as part of first lady Michelle Obama’s “Joining Forces” initiative for military families — and perhaps as a way to woo average American voters — Mrs. Obama and Vice President Joe Biden’s wife, Dr. Jill Biden, will serve as Grand Marshals of the November 20 season-ending NASCAR Ford 400.

I wish I was going to be there to hear the major major Boofest. I love it when they introduce Dems at NASCAR.

What is the seating capacity of the track and does the broadcaster have the technology to block out that many boos and extended middle fingers. They will be about as warmly recieved as soap and lysol at an OWS protest.

They will pay the price. I’ve quit watching and so have any number of my conservative friends. The stuff will hit the fan when the track owners start to feel the pinch of this at the gate! Southern Pride has given way to big bucks! The other thing is that there is no real competition in NASCAR. Toyota doesn’t even build a car with anything approaching the engine that they use in their NASCAR program. It even has a Chevy bell housing bolt pattern so they can use transmissions that the Chevy teams use directly. NASCAR was more fun to watch when they ran modified production cars.

You could also fire of an email or a hand-written letter by snail mail to NASCAR letting them know you don’t like seeing NASCAR being used for political purposes and will be doing activities other than watching the race.

NASCAR has a long history of being in bed with the politicians. Which is why this doesn't surprise me.

I’m waiting for the announcement that they will use one engine/one chassis and the only difference will be the stickers. We are almost there.

Stick a fork in NASCAR too.

The core of NASCAR has been changing since the old man died.

I’ll bet the true fans are still conservative though.

Remember when they booooo’d Clinton at Atlanta.

I’m a car guy through & through. Love drag racing. I stopped watching NHRA the day that John Force said in an interview that Hannity & Beck should stop lying. Now I have to stop watching NASCAR too.
The next thing will be NCIS becoming like Law & Order.
My head will explode in 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 Boom.
I’m done.

Numerous times. I was at Richmond when they introduced the Democratic Governor. Bill Clinton got his taste when he was campaigning with Arkansasan Mark Martin when they called him Klintoon the draft dodger. Dems don’t like NASCAR dads cause they like the NRA too.

And when the legendary Smokey Yunick was in the pits. If you’re a NASCAR fan, and don’t know about him, go here and read some of his amazing “tricks, “: and skirting of the rules.

Hence the name Stock Car.

Chevy Ford Chrysler Toyota, they all drive the same car with different engines., Engines you and I cannot buy.
Thay are all rear wheel drive cars and Cheby and Toyota no longer build rear wheel drive cars.
If by accident one manufacturer or team finds a way to make their car faster NASCAR will either ban them or make them slow it down.

But the biggest disgrace here is asking two women who have absolutely nothing in common with NASCAR viewers to start the race.

You can bet I won’t be watching. Hopefully no one else does eiher.Send the Wookie a message, stay home and play with the kids that day.

NCIS has changed since the new season. It was the only show hubby and I liked but now Gibbs is all touchy feely and it is disgusting.

Here they had a character that said so much without saying anything and they screwed up the best thing on tv.

We are thisclose to not watching it anymore.

But I think they have new writers. The rest of the characters have changed as well. It is on a slow slide to being changed to another night then done for good like so many good shows that the networks can’t leave alone.

And as far as Miss Big Butt being the Grand Marshal? Well, just take a lookee here:

http://weaselzippers.us/2011/11/12/pic-of-the-day-54/

It is the same old sullen underbite “All this for a f-ing flag” refusing to put its hand over its heart while dressed in Romper Room attire. The comments are the best thing though. They don’t mince words.

And if you want your heartrate to go up, just read about its makeup ‘artist’ charging taxpayers $15,000 a day.

http://weaselzippers.us/2011/11/12/pic-of-the-day-54/

Personally, I think his work sucks. You can still see its face.

To balance out the day, let OUR Republican front runner, Herman Cain start the festivities with the National Anthem and Invocation.

I think Herman could even top this fellow Southern Baptist minister leading NASCAR:

Big TV money “justifies” any ethical trespasses. NASCAR’s being “mainstreamed” just like country music was back in the 1980s. “Screw what the fans think — they’ll come anyway,” so goes the thinking.

It’s on ESPN and they are about as liberal as it gets in the media. So yes, they will not show all the boos and extended digits.
BTW, I wrote a scathing e-mail to NASCAR yesterday about this-—not that it will do any good.

It’ll be worse than the race they had Whoopie Goldberg wave the green flag. She just stood up there and held it. OK Contractual obligation over, I’m going home.

For the first time I’m really proud...to not have cable so I cannot watch it.
