I’m not modifying anything. I’m simply telling you what the grand jury report says. If it says that Schultz was called to a meeting with Paterno and Curley in which Paterno reported the allegations, then I believe that’s what happened.

That Schultz did not report on the allegations to the police force he oversaw - the police force with jurisdiction - reflects poorly upon Schultz, not Paterno. The grand jury saw it this way also.

Please see the post above where I explain how it is, in fact, possible to convey the exact same meaning using multiple phrasings. I understand it’s a waste of time to argue with somebody who is trying to tell me there’s a difference between telling somebody something and reporting something to them. (Not that it matters, but I believe that the report uses the word “reported.”)
