Cain fans need to realize this is not going away.
OMG, you guys. This is creepy and disgusting. Thanks for the heads up.
That shot is the reverse of what was in the film. Also, did you know that is one of Antonin Scalia’s favorite movies.
That fact enhances my already high opinion of Justice Scalia, who might certainly be expected to enjoy such a colorful exposition of Italian cultural heritage on the part of the film's protagonists. ;-)
I’m not buying that it’s inconceivable that his client was motivated by money. He claims she graduated from an Ivy League school. How often and how long have we heard those two famous Ivy grads in the White House complain about their college loan debt?
Was this woman’s college debt paid off (assuming she had college debt) at the time she made the allegations? Was she married (presumably to yet another Ivy grad) at the time she made the allegations? Was she making big money from the NRA at the time she made the allegations?
If she would not be driven by money motivation today, she might well have been 20 years ago.
I would also have to wonder why her attorney would run so quickly to NPR and WaPo, without have seen again the agreement he had a hand in crafting, or approving, many years ago. And I really wonder how NPR and WaPo knew he was the attorney if the client’s identity is being kept under wraps for her own privacy reasons?
I wouldn't be surprised. I also wouldn't be surprised if the 'accuser' had no intention to ever make these charges public, but now that the media has exposed this - she's in a bind. Remember this is the game they played on Anita Hill. She had no intention in bringing charges (because they were all imaginary), but the media and Dem Senators roped her into it - and there was no going back. I think this eventually led to her madness (forced to espouse, and believe, something she knew to be a lie).
Oh, I am sure she didn’t want any of this publicized. If nothing else, filing harassment charges is ultimately a career killer. Tho, maybe now if she’s instrumental in bringing down a GOP Conservative, it’ll be a career enhancer.
Speaking of which, whatever happened to Meg Whitman’s illegal maid?
Only someone overly eager to see this righteous American of African heritage smeared and personally destroyed in his legitimate campaign for POTUS would jump to any other malicious conclusion. Lighten up and quit joining the "Drive By Media's" feeding frenzy of delight in stealing this man's reputation like they tried to do to Clarence Thomas. We don't need anymore "I believe Anita" type bumper stickers ever again!!!
Furthermore, why would you try to cast aspersions on my carefully considered commentary which was a simple repetition of what the man himself made plain for all to see and understand??? I've never encountered you here before and I hope it can be avoided in the future because I find it hard to tolerate injudicious conclusion jumpers who pounce upon fellow FReepers with such snide comments!!!
Read my tagline, then, if you feel so inclined, tell me just which of the contenders you feel is in fact any more qualified in spite of this meaningless dust-up by the media to become the future leader of the free world based on righteous constitutional conservative convictions demonstrated by consistent actions throughout a lifetime of leadership.
Yes, you have annoyed the Waspman and surely by now you realize that it's a mistake to lash out at my commentary with snotty little snide and petulant postulations that fall far short of inflicting any actual pain, just annouance!!! (maybe that'll cool your tobasco just a wee bit)
I pray this man gets triple the fund raising result from today.... God bless him.
Me thinks if Cain gets in... NPR is toast.
Good question, I'm guessing, hanging out in one of the many Californian 'Sanctuary Cities'.
According to today’s reports, this wacky dame only made $35,000 out of her slanderous allegations.
Now she’s trying to get her dumbass back on the gravy train.
We’ll see what happens.
It could be Axelrod, but James Carville has been champing at the bit lately, trying to get back into the game.
The poor guy's spinning--and I don't blame him, I would be too.
