Karl Rove to Herman Cain: True or false?
Politico ^ | 11/31/11

Posted on 10/31/2011 8:25:28 PM PDT by truthandlife

Karl Rove said Monday that Herman Cain has failed to properly respond to the POLITICO report that at least two women accused him of inappropriate behavior, saying he needs to say “yes or no.”

“He’s not denying, but he ain’t responding and that’s not the best place to be,” Rove said on Fox News. “If these allegations are not true, say they aren’t true and put it behind you. If not, better get everything out sooner rather than later because in a situation like this, if there is something there, that something’s going to come out.” Continue Reading Text Size

Asked whether he considered the Cain campaign’s response to the allegations as sufficient, the former George W. Bush strategist answered “no,” criticizing the decision to evade questions about whether there were ever any financial settlements with the women.

“I think Geraldo had it right last night — you simply can’t say go talk to the National Restaurant Association and refuse to answer the question, ‘Were there any monetary settlements involved in these things.....’”

Rove added, “You can’t simply say go ask, go talk to somebody else. You either need to say yes or no. And if no, say no immediately. Say absolutely or not and get on with it. But if you’re sitting there saying go talk to somebody else, it’s not going to help you.”

Greta’s show was taped this morning. They have been running excerpts of it all day long. He knew.

After the way the GOP dismissed Christine O’Donnell in the last election, I’ve dismissed the GOP. That race was an eyeopener for me.

I think a lot of people are finally realizing that Fox News is not conservative. Many ignored the sleaze and filth that Fox News thinks is news, and just a few days ago many ignored FNC conveniently forgetting to mention that the brother of the Saudi offering a $1 million bounty for Israeli soldiers is a News Corp investor.

But I think FReepers are finally coming around to seeing how horrible Fox News is since they are providing a platform for Rove to try and tear down every conservative candidate from Bachmann to Perry to Cain.

It's actually surprising, because FNC is/was run by a very good friend of Rick Perry's and Rudy Giuliani's. It makes me wonder who has their fingers in the pie.

Karl Rove is what is wrong with the GOP. He is the voice of the Washington Establishment and is totally in Romney’s camp. He opposes the Tea Party almost every time.
Karl, please just STFU.

As usual, Greta did have a good interview with Cain, but I wish I had $1 for every time he said “I can’t recall.”

Those three words worked very well for Ronald Reagan. That's good enough for me.

Karl, You’re greatly responsible for the president we have now so please put a sock in your mouth.

Rove has done more to help liberals and the democrats than he’s ever done to help conservatives.

Karl Rove is lower than pond scum. Such creatures will get their cumuppance. It is inevitable. God’s justice does not sleep forever.

I am totally disgusted by Rove. My God ... What kind of stupid idiot is this guy, and how does he think this helps the Republican Party, conservatives, and the Tea Party?

Their day of reckoning is coming, there is not only going to be regime change in the White House, but in the Republican Party for which I am so proud of because of the wonderful candidates such as Cain.

“I don’t recall” has some Clintonesque to it. That along with the denial of the charge but not the events.

‘I can't recall’
I believe Hillary Clinton made that statement standard speak when she was under questioning for the Rose Law Firm Records...even Billy boy Clinton used that phrase often...so maybe it is standard procedure for all Political speak so to say...

I like Cain, from all I've read and heard he seems more straight and honest than any of them running...

by the way off topic...I just read where White House Doctor said B.Hussein Obama is tobacco free!!!! LOL and we are to believe someone in this current White House...
with that I bid you a wonderful nite with sweet dreams ALL.

that was an eye opener for many of us...

I’ve been a Republican who supported the GOP for MANY years... I’ve stopped supporting GOP three years ago and now I consider myself a ‘Conservative Tea Party Supporter’

and I will stand by Herman Cain and will proudly VOTE for him POTUS.

Rove is the guy that told Bush to focus more on himself than being a conservative. And by the end of his eighth year I was convinced of same. Totally convinced.

Rove looked very guilty when talking about Cain tonight of BOR. Mrs. CT also noticed as well.

Does anyone know how Rove gets paid these days? What is the Fox News gig paying? How about Mittens? Is he getting money from Romney?
